The Sneaky Little Troublemaking Kit.

Redkit wandered around the nursery, bored. She looked at her sleeping mother, and snuck out of the nursery to go find something to do.

Redkit saw an apprentice nearby, not looking towards the nursery. She planned her ambush of the unsuspecting apprentice.

Redkit padded silently over, and pounced on the unsuspecting apprentice's tail.

"Mrrrow!" Redkit went in for another, very badly planned attack. It failed miserably, she landed a tail-length away from where she was aiming.

Shadeflame watched from the distance, as a kit was pouncing on Soulpaw's tail. He chuckled, before rising up to his paws and padding over, before picking up the kit by the scruff of her neck and setting her down away from Soulpaw's tail. "Wow," he said. "You're some kit, sneaking up on an apprentice like that." He patted the kit on the head with a gentle paw. "You'll be a great warrior one day."

"Thanks!" Redkit said, slightly embarrassed that the warrior had seen her failure.

Redkit crept away, now that the warrior and apprentice were talking. She wanted to find something better to do than stand there while the warrior and apprentice talked.

Sleepily, Cormorantpaw made her way to food pile. She'd slept half the day away and was so not looking forward to a lecture had anyone known. She was almost there when she tripped over a sneaky little kit. "Watch it!" She hissed.

"Maybe you should watch where you're going," Redkit retorted. It wasn't her fault that the apprentice hadn't been looking where she was going.

"I was. It's kind of hard not to trip over a skittering furball." She huffed. Her stomach didn't have time for this. It was hungry. Oh so hungry...

She marched off the food pile and napped a snake. She didn't even carry it off before she scarfed it down.

Redkit stalked off, back to the nursery, her nose in the air.
