Bubblekit leapt across the stepping stones into the territory. None of the cats were watching her, so she decided to go on an adventure. She had only gone a little ways out before she had gotten lost. Which way was camp? She kept heading straight ahead, hoping she was going the right way. She kept on running and running for what seemed like forever, until she eventually ran out of breath. She decided to take a short nap, then when she woke up she might have a better idea of where she was.
Bubblekit had no idea how long she had slept for, but when she woke up it had started snowing again. She looked around her, but didn't see anything familiar. She now had no idea which way she was heading before, as the new snow had covered her tracks. She started heading in a different direction this time, hoping it would bring her back.
It started getting dark, but the snowstorm hadn't stopped. If anything, it was worse. Bubblekit eventually reached a river, with a small bridge over it. She had no idea where she was now. Was this river the same river she had crossed before? She decided to cross the bridge, hoping her camp would be close on the other side.
It was very late, and Bubblekit was getting very cold and hungry. She could no longer see anything, as it was dark and foggy. The snow had stopped but it was still very cold. She had finally given up all hope of finding her clan again. She heard noises up ahead, loud growls like thunder. Was another storm on its way? She ran in the opposite direction from those sounds, hoping they wouldn't chase her. Strangely enough, they didn't.
After what seemed like ages of running, Bubblekit eventually reached a large twoleg structure. It was definitely not her camp, but she didn't care. It was warm and comfortable and good enough for her. Her legs were so sore from running that she practically collapsed in the middle of the structure, falling right asleep from exhaustion
