Snow Trails [OPEN]

Ivyfur sat by the entrance of camp, her blue eyes dim and pale looking at the snow. She hoped that food wouldn't be as scarce as she had heard of; but her chin raised high as she saw what she thought was kits trailing from the nursery. This brought her the painful memory of Mudfoot's death; and she had wanted to bear kits for the clan, yet love never stuck her close enough to do so. As she stood up to paw at the snow towards where their food was kept, she found herself digging the pile out of the snow with her paws; unaware of how the snow had gathered coldly on her back. But as she had gotten only a small section out, she had realized that Windclan had a neat pile stacked, and that her eyes had skipped it easily. Oh well. The snow may be cold; but it sure does fell nice on my paws.
