One late night

It was getting late. The moon shone almost full in the sky. A beautiful, grey she-cat sat in a clearing, wide awake in the night. A small breeze blew some stray leaves. "Mouse dung!" the cat cursed to herself as some leaves got tangled in her long fur, before attempting to groom them out of her pelt.

She heard a snap! as a cat nearby stepped on some leaves. "Hello?" the she-cat asked."Who's there? Show yourself!" she demanded.

Ic- A small white form stepped into the clearing with a muffled, "Sorry." He wold have smelled strongly or Riverclan, if it hadn't been masked by the scent of mud and rain. His white fur carried a long trailing bramble vine, making a shallow indention in the dirt. Brushing it off with a paw, he tilted his head curiously at the other cat, quiet and a man of few words as usual. "Who are you?" Something seemed to be tugging on his face, making his eyes and mouth droop downwards into a frown. He let the rain wash it away, being sad and helpless wasn't such a good impression.

"I'm Snowface. What's your name?" she asked, the rain masking her scent.

IC: Goldfang was walking close to four trees one late night when he smelled other cats.

Snowface heard a twig snap behind her. "Hello? Is someone else there?" she asked.

"Hello then, Snowface. I'm Ashpaw." Pricking his ears, he heard yet another cat approaching. Sniffing the air, he tried to distinguish which clans the other cats were from, but to no avail. The rain smeared every smell together into a strange mix of a damp bitter and a dry sweetness.

IC;; It was a late dark night, cold breeze, the usual. A black she-cat, hidden by the darkness, her eyes piercing and glowing (sort of) can only be seen. Well, it as just Ravenpaw, to be honest. She had decided to go out to Fourtrees to see if there were any herbs that were cloes by. When she arrived, she scented other cats, which made her a bit wary about wher she was stepping. Of course, until she stepped on a silly branch, and rain dripping, she could barely hear another cat, a she-cat ask who was there. "Me..." was the blunt reply the medicine cat apprentice gave, surprisingly being more polite than at camp as she came out from her hiding place, and greeted the two with a bow.

Well, looks like no one in the clans could sleep. Dipping his head in greeting, as he had already sat, he randomly gave off a rumbling purr. "So, no one could sleep?" Curling his tail around his paws, with small white paws digging their claws into the cool, calming mud.
