Nightpaw, Adderpaw, and Flamepaw's Battle Training

OOC: If Spottedflight and Rainspot could join as well, that would be awesome.

IC: Dewstar strolled through the camp, a pleasant smile on her face. She had been in a good moon for a while now, and she fully intended to keep that good mood. "Nightpaw, Flamepaw, and Adderpaw! Get up, we have training to do!" She called into the apprentices' den, not caring if she woke the other apprentices as well. They had their own duties to do, and it was about time that everyone got up. She had already informed Spottedflight and Rainspot that she wanted the trio to train together, and all five of the cats should be appearing quite soon.

Spottedflight flicked her tail as she left the warrior's den, a little irritated that Dewstar had wanted all three of the newest apprentices to be trained together, though each warrior was perfectly capable of training the apprentices singularly. How else would the brothers be able to work without each other? Though, on the bright side, it took some of the burden off of each of the members. The warrior quickly caught up with Dewstar and gave her a sleepy smile, the leader's happy mood spreading to the cat, making her forget her irritation. "I assume we're starting with battle training?" she asked.

Meanwhile, Flamepaw blinked his eyes open, Dewstar's words rattling in his head. "Haha! First day of training!" he mewed brightly as he leapt to his feet. He scampered over his brothers, "accidentally" stepping on each of them as he made his way out of the den. "Last one out's a rotten mouse!" he mewed behind him after he was already out of the den. Then he trotted over to Dewstar and Spottedflight. It was only when he realized Rainspot wasn't there that he hung back, wondering where his mentor was.

Adderpaw was the second to get up, rolling over casually and swishing his tail tip in greeting to the leader; meanwhile ignoring Flamepaw's stupid stumble over his...face or whatever. "Oh, good morning." He yawned, pulling himself to his paws. He looked at his remaining brother, the one not up yet, then padded outside of the den. Better wake up soon. It'll be embarrassing if he's late. He thought, but kept a straight face. First day of training, and so early in the morning? Might as well get used to it, he supposed. But what was Dewstar all grouchy about? Was she always this grumpy?

Nightpaw groaned and hissed as his brother stepped on him. He swatted another body and dragged himself up. Stupid brother, tossing and turning in the night, waking him up every second. No wonder he was tired. He heard battle training, and groaned again. Why battle training? Why not look at the territory? He shuffled out into the light, looking at his mentor. Why were all of them training together. Well, whatever, he was going to beat his brothers, even if he was not going to go all excited about it. "I'm up, i'm up." he yawned out, sitting back on his haunches.

Dewstar didn't have the patience to wait for Rainspot, so she turned away and began padding through the gorse tunnel, flicking her tail in a command to follow. She led the way to the sandy hollow and turned to look at the three apprentices expectantly.

Spottedflight nodded to the three apprentices, glad they'd showed up in a timely manner. She didn't, however have time to greet them properly, as Dewstar was already leaving. She followed behind swiftly, as she knew the path well. When her leader stopped, so did the warrior, taking a place beside Dewstar at a respectful distance.

Flamepaw felt a bit of dissapointment as Rainspot still didn't show up. She was probably busy with warrior stuff, right? His head hung a bit lower than normal as he followed the older cats to the training ground. When they stopped, he looked around in curiosity, but didn't say anything; he assumed Dewstar would tell them what to do.

Adderpaw followed at his own pace, but keeping up nonetheless. He walked by Flamepaw's side, glancing at him when he hung his head. "Hey, what's up with you?" He asked, no real emotion in his voice. But this was a 'brotherly' thing to do, right? When he was a kit not long ago he had decided to protect his brothers at all costs. There was no real reason, and they could handle themselves, but Adderpaw himself wanted to become a strong, awesome warrior when he grew up, like a role-model for the kits or something. What tom of his age, looking to become a warrior someday, didn't want to be a strong one when it happened? However, he didn't want his bros lagging behind, so every now and then it'd be fun to challenge them. That was the fun part of having siblings; you get to mess with them every now and then and they won't take it as annoying, just a sort of challenge...Most of the time.

Dewstar addressed Adderpaw and Flamepaw first. "You two will be sparring partners. Nightpaw can just watch from the sidelines. First, I want you to face each other and then show me a basic hit- the front paw blow."

OOC: Rose said I should post in here. Is that okay?

IC: Rookpaw observed the training from the apprentice den. Her silvery eyes took in everything. Her black pelt made everything but her eyes camoflouged as the small she-cat watched. She wondered where Spottedfeather was.

Adderpaw blinked at Dewstar's order, then turned to his brother and suddenly lashed out a paw, casually slapping him in the face...If a slap can be casual. "Like that?" Adderpaw calmly asked, watching Flamepaw still for his move.

Flamepaw nodded in understanding as Dewstar gave them instructions. He turned to Adderpaw in just the right moment to get his face smacked. He shook his head to shake off the surprise before returning the slap. Then he waited for Dewstar's next instructions, since Adderpaw had already asked the important question.

Meanwhile, Spottedflight had taken a step back, letting all the apprentices know that they should be listening to Dewstar at the moment.

OOC: My god I almost died XD Just he slapping part, my god XD

IC: Spottedfeather quickly padded near the apprentice den, quickly telling Rookpaw to hurry. She rushed through the forest before getting to the sandy hallow. She had accidentely got distracted by patrols before quickly realizing Dewstar had wanted more training to be done. She stood to the side, waiting for Dewstar to give Rookpaw the instructions she wanted to give her.

Nightpaw watched his brother casually slap each other, before he let out a snort. It was quite amusing to watch. This seemed to be the only interesting part of training so far

Rookpaw bounded after her mentor, skidding to stop and sstanding beside Spottedfeather and waiting patiently for instructions. Rookpaw held back a snort when one apprentice slapped the other.

OOC: I'm confused. Are Nightpaw, Adderpaw and Flamepaw Spottedfeather's kits?

OOC: Yes

Dewstar's whiskers twitched with amusement. "Yes, like that. Ah, hello, Rookpaw. You can be partners with Nightpaw." She blinked at the small black apprentice, pleased that there was now an even amount of apprentices. She looked back at the other two brothers. "The next move is just like that, but with your claws unsheathed. However," She said very sharply, "I don't want you ripping each other up, so we're moving on to the belly rake. The goal is to slide under your opponent and slash at their belly."

OOC: Rook, do you know the fighting system?
