Snowkit's Apprentice Ceremony

With a heavy sigh, Dewclaw heaved herself up the Highrock. It was discouraging to know that Mossstar was still a while away from recovering. Nevertheless, a new apprentice was always a good thing, and so she forced a smile onto her face. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!"

Snowkit smiled. About time I became an apprentice she thought.

"Snowkit," she began, looking at the she-kit. "you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Snowpaw. Mossfur will be your mentor." She jumped from the rock without a second glance towards the new apprentice and padded away to the medicine cat's den, no doubt to speak with Swiftpaw.
