MASS ASSESSMENT (For all who need)

The member '0hhh A Splotch of Blood' has done the following action : Dices roll

Hawkpaw almost ran into the next prey she came across. A bird flew in front of her and she automatically reached out to catch it.


OOC: Not feeling good so I can only do short posts.

The member 'Rose' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Chance Dice' : 3

Bristlepaw paused, in sudden realization. 'Didn't Racconstar say three?' He purred to himself, and let the two mice get away. Turning, back, he hurried over to the tree, and uncovered his two mice prizes, they were still warm, causing the saliva to build in his mouth. It was so tempting, but he refused to eat any of it.

Finally pausing to where he caught his first one, he dropped the two mice and uncovered the rabbit. Tucking the rabbit under his chin, then snatching the two mice in his maw, he made his way over to Racconstar. A few minutes latter, he unceremoniously dropped the food.

Shaking off his previous failure, Eaglepaw quickly made his way across the moor again, casting his eyes out for more prey. Presently, another rabbit made its slow way across the plains. Freezing on the spot, the brown-furred apprenticed resumed his hunter's form as he slowly made his way over. The time to charge grew nearer.

The following series of events were something out of a horror story passed down by the elders. Young kits should probably leave the room for this. The rabbit also somehow noticed Eaglepaw and took off running before the apprentice could even get his bearings. It didn't get much better from there. Another rabbit and a mouse easily escaped his clutches, to the point where he wanted to yowl in frustration. Four prey, four misses. How could he be so bad? Was Starclan punishing him or something? Sighing, he dejectedly kept moving on, having never felt so low before as he kept searching for a piece of prey to catch. Any piece, really.

Success! Finally, after so long! It had taken way too long, but Eaglepaw had finally captured three pieces of prey - two rabbits and a mouse - and was able to haul them back to Raccoonstar. He was exhausted but happy that he hadn't failed completely and utterly - only utterly. Now he was one step closer to becoming a warrior! Excitement coursed through his fur despite his tiredness.
