Mass Battle Training [OPEN]

This was always the most interesting part of training in Thrushstar's mind. Well, it used to be. He always enjoyed it when he started being leader because he was hoping to build up his clan for an attack, but anymore it was self defense. Life as the neutral clan was nice, he decided. Padding into the clearing, he waited for the apprentices and a couple of his warriors to show up for battle training. He announced that he was leading it the previous night, so there should be no one left out. "Let's go!" he called out to the apprentices.

A white and silver spotted tom padded out of the apprentices den and waited next to Thrushstar. Soulpaw blinked and looked around for his crush Cinderpaw.

Nightpaw followed Thrushstar and the other apprentices into the clearing.

Wildpaw followed Thrushstar and the other apprentices. The dark brown tom quickened his pace to walk beside Soulpaw.

"Hey Wildpaw." Soulpaw meowed and flicked his friend with his tail.

Mosspaw followed behind her grandfather, racing past Soulpaw and Wildpaw, brushing their pelts teasingly as she ran up ahead. "I'm going to be the first one there." She announced.

Mudfoot heard about Thrushstar's battle training and thought it would be nice to tag along. He padded after the leader and apprentices with a smile. Wonder where Barkpaw and Patchpaw are? The charming tom looked around the camp for his apprentices.

Shatteredsoul exited the warrior's den. He walked over to Thrushstar and nodded respectfully to him, then turned to Mudfoot. "Greetings, Mudfoot. I see you've taken the news well...you know...about my mother disappearing," he said in his normal, low-toned voice that was always spoken with a calm hostility. Hardly anyone knew about Frostwhisper's disappearance yet, so he narrowed his eyes slightly as he waited for Mudfoot's reaction to the news. Despite sharing the news of his mother's state of being missing, Shatteredsoul was there to go on the mass battle training.

Frogpaw shyly headed outside, shuffling at the ground and refusing to bond with anyone. She couldn't risk being exiled - one of her extreme fears - and if everyone hated her, she wouldn't be in a good place, either. Her eyes were glued to the ground, and as a result and walked straight into Shatteredsoul. Frogpaw stared at him with huge, 'I'm sorry' eyes. "I'm sorry, Shatteredpa- Shatteredsoul," She slowly stepped back into the group. For some odd reason, she didn't exactly trust Shatteredsoul, and she was afraid of him. He was bigger, leaner, stronger and better then her. That's a reason to dislike him, huh.

Icepaw padded along, excited to practice battle training with the other apprentices.

Wildpaw smiled.
"Hey-," Wildpaw broke off as Mosspaw shot past them. Wildpaw looked over at Soulpaw, a bit of a glimmer in his eyes. Wildpaw flicked Soulpaw with his tail then took off after Mosspaw.

Dunepaw and Barkpaw raced out of the apprentince's den,racing all the way to the group of cats. Panting,Barkpaw reached the group first. "I won!" he said, his eyes gleaming, for he was a cat that didnt run alot. Dunepaw walked beside him,and together they jonied the patrol.

This was a lot of cats. Thrushstar was slightly relieved when he saw Mudfoot approach. He was glad that there were so many willing apprentices, but he didn't think that he could handle eight by himself. Of course, if they knew what they were getting into then there shouldn't have been any problems, but the leader needed extra eyes. However, he paused when he saw Shatteredsoul pad forward, joining the group. He was such a strange tom, but the leader didn't have any issues with weird. Nodding back, he simply watched as Shatteredsoul walked over to Mudfoot and began talking to him. Despite the noise of the apprentices running around, Thrushstar could make out some of what was being said, the most prominent being about how Frostwhisper had disappeared. How did she disappear? The leader saw her not too long ago... Narrowing his eyes at the tom, he opened his mouth to say something but was cut short when he saw Frogpaw pad up to the group looking worried... scared, even. Simply observing, the leader watched as his apprentice whispered something to Shatteredsoul and nervously joined the group. Something was going on. Something Thrushstar definitely needed to know about. He took a quickly look around, looking for Leopardfang for a moment to see what the tom had to say about it. Maybe the leader was just paranoid, but he had a right to be after Brokenflame's incident.

"Is this everyone?" Thrushstar finally asked, deciding to keep quiet for now. That matter was something that needed to be discussed privately with Shatteredsoul and not in front of the apprentices. He could talk to Frogpaw later in her training. "Well, if anyone else wants to join us, they can come find us." With that, Thrushstar stood up and walked out of camp towards the burnt sycamore to start training.

A certain silvery white and black she cat bolted over after the leader ,few warriors and other apprentices rather quickly. She paused every now and then making her fur neat as she had said"wait up!" Once Fracturedpaw had caught up she came over padding beside Wildpaw and the others. She looked at Wildpaw and smiled a bit her blue purple eyes that were more blue sparkled a bit"hi"She mewed.

Soulpaw padded after Thrushstar silently, flicking his tail every now and then. He turned to look back at Cinderpaw and smiled but when he did he also saw his mentor Shatteredsoul and quickly gave Cinderpaw a gentle lick on the ear and turned around again. He had nothing against his, what was Shatteredsoul again? Oh that's right he was his nephew, or adopted nephew at least. But when Sloupaw had brought up Rot Shatteredsoul acted weird, but he thought maybe that's because he found him death on the Thunderpath, like he had said. Soulpaw just shrugged it off, he had more important things to worry about.
