Who is this adorably grumpy child?

Out of the warm darkness of the nursery a grey paw flashed out and started to paw at a patch of sunlight at the entrance. "What is this stuff?", came a soft whisper. Next came a dark grey nose, which sniffed at what she thought was an oddly bright patch of ground. Sensing nothing, an entire kit emerged, looking around in awe. Now this kit looked a little more adorable than the average kit, considering she was standing as prideful as a newly appointed warrior.
 This kit was Rainkit. She was quite grumpy, really. But no kit could stay unhappy at the sight before her. Warriors and apprentices bustling in and out of camp, and elders chatting while sunning themselves. It was quite the first view of the world. Everyone's so big! While she was occupied with wonder, someone snuck up from behind her.

Mossfur was sunbathing as she saw Rainkit emerge. She decided to introduce herself. She snuck up from behind and poked her. "Hi! I'm Mossfur. Who are you?"

Jumping in surprise, the young kit flashed around and dashed out a paw. Stopping herself at the thought that this was her clanmate, she quickly withdrew it. "Sorry, Mossfur.. You scared me!", she mumbled as she licked down her fur in embarresment. "And I'm Rainkit. You're a warrior, right?", Rainkit mewed. I'll be that big when I grow up!? This child had tons of growing to do.

Mossfur purred "I am a warrior. You will be one someday."

A yowl of surprise could be heard from the warriors' den. Soon enough, Dewclaw came out from the den, a little black and white kit in her jaws. "I've told you before and I had better not have to tell you again- you do not come into the warriors' den unless a warrior says you can." She said grumpily after putting the small tom on the ground. "And you do not find the nearest sleeping warrior and use your claws to climb them like Highrock!" He looked down at his tiny white paws with a mischievous smile on his face. Dewclaw sighed and sat down. "Why don't you go play with the other kits, Swiftkit? I'm very tired and soon I have to organize some patrols."

"But Dewclaw!" Swiftkit protested. "The other kits are too big and all they want to do is fight. They'll hurt me!"

"Yes, Opossumtail's kits are too big, but there are other litters." She glanced around and caught sight of Mossfur and another kit. "Look. That one looks to be your size. Go say hello; maybe you'll make a good friend today." She nudged him forward with a paw, but even that was enough to make him tumble over. Dewclaw turned and went back into the den, yawning tiredly. Swiftkit was left alone to grumble as he picked himself up and padded over to Mossfur and the other kit, moping all the way.

"Hi." He said plainly.

Mossfur turned. "Hi! Who are you? Wait no, I remember you! Your Swiftkit right?" she tilted her head as she tried to remember.
OOC: I remember I met you but I'm to lazy to check so lets just pretend if we didn't.

"I sure hope so! I'll be the best warrior the Clans'll have ever seen..!", The tiny kit boasted, with an equally tiny purr. "I've been watching the apprentices train, so I know some things already!" With that, the grey she-kit went down into a crude attacking crouch. She lashed her tail with a playful growl. Noticing a kit approaching, Rainkit stood up and tilted her head curiously. " Who'er you?", she mewed. "I'm Rainkit.

"Yeah, Swiftkit!" He cheered up some. They seemed like friendly cats, and he loved friendly cats. "Can you show me to crouch like that?" He asked Rainkit.

Mossfur sat down and watched the two kits talk and play. She remembered when she was this young.

Spottedpaw came back from hunting, dropping off her prey at the freshkill pile. She noticed Mossfur watching some kits and padded over, sitting next to her. "Hey Mossfur."

"This?", the young kit crouched down again. "Yeah, I can show you!", she purred cheerfully. "You just come down like I am, and stand with your paws a few thrush's wings' apart. I'm pretty sure ya' spread all of your weight evenly between your paws." The way Rainkit stood now was actually pretty decent for a cat with no training whatsoever. "Bet you can't knock me over now!"

Mossfur who was behind Rainkit reached out one paw and knocked him over. She decided to teach them again. "You crouch down like this. With your weight evenly on all paws." She crouched down to demonstrate.

Swiftkit laughed as Mossfur made Rainkit tumble over. He watched the warrior closely and then copied as best as he could, trying to get it just perfect. "Is this right, Mossfur? Aren't I the best?"

Spottedpaw looked at Swiftkits position and noticed her tail flicking and brushing the ground. She reached her paw forward and lifted her tail a little and stilled it. "Make sure your tail isn't brushing the ground, but isn't too high in the air. And don't let it move, or else is could brush a leaf and let others know you're there." Spottedpaw smiled toward the kit.

As the kit tumbled over, she gave a mewl of shock, "Hey!" Rainkit cleaned her thick fur yet again. "I meant Swiftkit couldn't!", the grey tabby growled indignantly. She added softly, "I'm about as heavy as a rabbit.."
 The she-cat pushed the rest of her thoughts aside. I'll be ahead of the other kits my age if I do this now. Now that convinced her. So she crouched down, now a little better than before. She even took the advice pointed at Swiftkit for herself as well.
