For the first two questions in the form, just describe the result you got from your personality quizzes.
For your physical description, just describe what you look like in real life (as a person, not a cat). Your hair color will translate into fur color. Make sure to describe your size.
The next part of the form is for your skills. Just check ([X]) all of the boxes for all of the "skills" you think you possess, and leave the rest blank. There's no need to be modest here, just honest. Don't be afraid to check multiple boxes (or no boxes at all).
For the next one, just look at your skills and personality and pick what you think your warrior name will be.
As for the next one, you will choose the warrior name of the person who posted before you based on their skills and personality. The person who posts after you will do the same to you. This is the best part of it, I think (or maybe this whole "game" will fail miserably). |D
- The Rules:
1. Each name absolutely must be 100% traditional. Why? Because that's the whole challenge of choosing the name and the whole point of providing your personality and skills. Just choosing a random name you thought of off the top of your head would be boring.
2. Be honest with the whole thing. Don't skew your answer to get the result you want for the personality test. Lying to yourself so you can get the name you want (or giving the name your friend wants) just spoils the fun and is just sad.
- Brief Traditionalism Guide:
WCC loosely subscribes to ailuronymic traditionalism, so we're going to play by their rules for this. There are more rules than this, but the two most important are:
- The prefix (first part of name) must describe the cat's appearance based on their most obvious trait, which is almost always their pelt color (such as Fire- for a ginger cat, because fire is associated with red/orange/yellow). A cat may not be named after their eye color.
- The suffix (second part of name) will describe the cat's character. They will either be named after their skills, personality, or appearance. The suffix must highlight a positive trait of the warrior and not be insulting (names for severely injured cats like Lostface and Deadfoot, however, are considered honorable).
There are tons of cool traditional prefixes to use, and ailuronymy has graciously provided a list of them on their blog along with helpful descriptions. You can find that here. The number of available suffixes, however, is much more limited. You can find the list that Grey (the person who runs the blog, not the person on WCC) made here, but I'll also provide a simplified guide for the sake of convenience.
- Suffixes and their (Grossly Oversimplified) Meanings:
Skill
-claw: Skilled fighter, strong, and brave.
-fang: Competent, charismatic, and respected.
-foot: Swift, nimble, and attentive.
-leaf: Skilled healer, intelligent, and dedicated.
-nose: Skilled tracker, intelligent, and honest.
-step: Varies, depends on prefix.
-stream: Skilled swimmer, athletic, and graceful.
-tail: Agile, energetic, and adventurous.
-whisker: Skilled hunter, observant, skilled in social situations.
Personality:
-cloud: Patient, friendly, and mild-mannered.
-flower: Skilled mother, caring, and passive (name is for she-cats only).
-heart: Courageous, compassionate, and honorable.
-storm: Dynamic and ever-changing, ranging from recklessly energetic and hotblooded to mellow and wise.
Appearance:
-ear: At least one heavily damaged ear.
-eye: At least one missing, discolored, or badly shaped eye.
-jaw: A twisted or broken jaw.
-face: A very attractive cat.
-fur/pelt: Average, with no outstanding abilities but some skill in everything.
-stripe: Average tabbies, with no outstanding abilities but some skill in everything.
