A familiar gray tabby tom padded through the territory, his chin held up high as he patrolled near the Thunderpath, coming back from the land shared with WindClan. He placed one paw on the warm stone of the monster's track, glancing around for any incoming threat's as he planned to cross over again. It was then that the strangest thing happened. A monster was heading their way when a squirrel foolishly jogged out onto the road. For whatever reason, the monster let out a hideous screech as it swerved out of the way and off the thunder path, right for where Sagestar was hiding. "StarClan!" He screamed and leaped back and out of the way, the creature narrowly missing him. His emerald eyes were wide with shock and every hair on his pelt standing as he tried to calm himself, but he couldn't. A blaring headache was coming on and his vision was starting to blur; he was losing his breath. After a few moment, he simply dropped.
Sagestar woke up later in a daze, hissing under his breath, knowing that he had - once again - lost another life. "Fox-dung." He growled, heaving himself unto his feet, though his vision was still a blur. He shook his head and walked back up to the road. He didn't think there was any monsters coming, though, he couldn't really tell. The tom risked it and shot across the thunderpath. He risked wrongly, side-stepping around the dead squirrel and faltering, he couldn't make it across fast enough and was nearly trampled by the running monster. He broke his leg and lost another life that night, waking up moments later and pulling himself painfully to the right side of the road. Fml.
