    Owlkit padded out of the nursery, grumbling. How boring was this nest ! With all the queens chatting and the other kits snoring. He wanted to play and get into troubles ! Maybe get out of the camp ? Nah, too risky. Or put thorns into elder's nest ! Already done... he was wrong, the nursery was not boring. All the Thunderclan's camp was boring. Shrply getting apprentice !
    Then, the young kit saw a butterfly. Owlkit frowned, trying to follow the movement of the colored wings of light, but he got distracted and leapt over it.

Snowkit awoke and stifled a yawn. She slowly got up onto her paws and stretched her small body. She looked over to the entrance of the nursery, and seen Owlkit leaping out. She crept after her den-mate, hoping not to make a sound. "I'm going to catch him off guard, he'll be so surprised!" She thought to herself, before stepping on a twig, and alerting Owlkit immediately. She sighed and gave up, and had a look around. She then noticed that Owlkit had been chasing a colourful butterfly around camp, but he was now on top of it. "That's not how you catch a butterfly! You almost killed it!" She mewed, while padding over to Owlkit.

    Owlkit wasgoing to bite the bug but Snowkit prevented him. The kit pulled a face and turned toward the white she-cat. And what again ? Couldn't he eat peacefully his catch ? « Aaaah ! Please Snowkit ! It's full of meat, and it still warm... » Then, he smirked, took the half dead butterfly in his pad and shook it in front of her « Want to taste it ? » Ah, girls ! Never want to get dirty ! But that was what Owlkit prefered, to roll in the mud and try to eat all th insects of the camp.

"Sure!" Snowkit answered, waiting for Owlkit to give her permission to try some. She had never tasted butterfly before! She had only caught them gently between her paws, making sure not to kill them.

"Okay! Thank you!" Mewed Snowkit, leaning down to take a small bite of the butterfly. She bit into and chewed but tasted... Nothing. The wings of the frail creature tasted like she had put nothing in her mouth. "That was a disappointment" She thought to herself. "Now you try some!" She mewed, encouraging Owlkit to try it.
