Meddie Training

Mallowroot waited by the camp entrance, looking occasionally at the medicine cat den to see if Hailpaw was up.

Hailpaw felt as if someone was watching him, so he turned from his nest, looking at his mentor. His eyes turning bright. "Oh! Are we going to start training?!" He asked, sitting up.

Mallowroot nodded to Hailpaw. "We'll be doing medicine cat training like identifying herbs, practicing herbs, picking herbs..."

Hailpaw nodded, looking at his mentor with shining eyes. "Okay I am ready to start." He purred and smiled.

"Alright," Mallowroot mewed, walking over to the forest. "Follow me over the rainbow."

Hailpaw followed after his mentor, making his foot steps small but fast. He was so close to Mallowroot that their fur touched. He tried to be as quite as he could, just in case there was patrol near by hunting or something.

Mallowroot looked at Hailpaw, smiling a bit. "You don't have to stick so close, Hailpaw. Just stay light on your feet and you won't disturb anything."

Hailpaw nodded, looking over parting a bit from his mentor. "Okay, I'm sorry."

Mallowroot gave a small laugh as he came close to the thunderpath, stopping his apprentice with his tail so he wouldn't go too close. "This is the thunderpath," he mewed. "This place can seem... scary, but there are many vital herbs here that a medicine cat uses."

Hailpaw flicked his tail, looking back and forth, "we'll then, why does it smell so bad?" He ask, cocking his head to the side

Mallowroot thought a second, and started hearing a small rumbling getting closer and closer. "Because...." Mallowroot started, flicking his tail towards the tracks.
RROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRR
The large black machine came roaring by, smoke trailing behind it, filling the air with a big, grey cloud of dust and debris.

Hailkit widen his eyes and jumped back, "Woah!" He squeaked, the air was knocked out of his chest, just from the scare, he didn't that was going to happen. He cocked his head to the left. "What was that?!"

"That... was a monster," Mallowroot answered back, looking on both ways of the thunderpath to make sure any monsters weren't coming. "Alright," he mewed, turning around. "Follow me, there's more herb locations I have to show you."

Ic: Hailpaw fallowed after, fast. He wasn't very sure he wanted.

IC: Mallowroot came to a stop as they came to the border between SkyClan and ShadowClan. Mallowroot turned to his apprentice. "This is the border separating SkyClan and ShadowClan," he mewed.
