Greeting a New Face

Larchcloud awoke in an amazing peaceful territory. A-Am I in Starclan? No! I have to t-take care of Lavenderkity and D-Drizzlekit! The tabby thought. But, her starlit paws told her otherwise. "H-He-" She broke off when she saw the deceased of Skyclan, and all of Starclan waiting for her. But, the ones whom took the front, were her mother, Coldheart, waiting with pride. Kestrelflight, who seemed so peaceful to her. Oh, how mean she had been to the poor cat, but, the ranks of Starclan are what she had joined. She was clanmates with cats from every clan, but there was two cats she never realized were there, Flamestar and Silentfeather. She knew her father had disappeared, but never died. Walking up to greet her former clanmates, she smiled. "Coldheart! Kestrelflight!" She cheerfully mewed.


Coldheart smiled as she sat beside Kestrelflight. "Welcome to Starclan, dear Larchcloud." The calm she-cat's voice soothed Larchcloud. "B-But I have to help Silentstar ta-" She was silenced by her mother. "Yes, we are all aware of what you were responsible for, but even I had responsibilities, yet it was my time, and so was yours." Coldheart replied, licking her daughter's forehead.

Kestrelflight sat in the sunlight next to her adopted mother. Her body had returned to her most beautiful form-which was quite beautiful indeed. Her fur was sleek, and she had filled out her bones with weight. Her eyes shimmered again, and she smiled. "Welcome, Larchcloud. It's quite wonderful again."

Larchcloud smiled. "Well, now here we are. No rivalries. I am very proud to call myself a warrior of Starclan, but... It's Silentstar... She has no kin left except her kits... it worries me..." She was calm at the end of her sentence.

Kestrelflight looked down. "SkyClan won't last long." she mumbled very quietly.

Silentfeather appeared, her pelt glimmering with star dust. "It appears as if SkyClan's end draws near. This hurts me to say so Larchcloud, you had a great future ahead of you. While this is difficult for us, perhaps it may be best if SkyClan is no longer. Silentstar and her kits are almost the only ones left." Looking up to the night sky, her eyes reflected the star that was shining brightest. "We have to spread her kits to the other clans and hope they accept them altogether. As for Silentstar herself, perhaps there is something we can do so she'll agree with us and join StarClan."

Larchcloud shook her head. "No, they won't. It's so small..." She replied.

Coldheart nodded. "I worry that something huge is coming. Skyclan is so small. No warriors, Ivypaw has disappeared... Silentstar is pretty much on her own... No medicine cat... This is not good..." The she-cats' eyes were wide with worry.

Larchcloud nodded to the elder former-medicine cat. Coldheart decided to speak. "As much as I hate to say it, Silentfeather, but perhaps that is best. Should we warn her yet?" Coldheart looked at Silentfeather, and her eyes reflected one of the brightest stars, where as Larchcloud's did one of the darkest.

Kestrelflight nodded in agreement

IC: Silentfeather sighed, "Perhaps we should wait a little longer before we decide anything... It may be too soon if we choose to do this now. Either of you two have any suggestions?"

Coldheart looked at her daughter, then Silentfeather. "We shall send Silentstar on a journey; and we will send her a message, one at a time, on where the rest of Skyclan are destined to go." She replied.
