Badger Spotted!

Bluekit trotted along by herself near the river right outside of the camp, all of sudden this weird scent washed over her.
it smells like a dead mouse that's been laying there for days! the young kit thought, then there was a russling in the bushes, bluekit jumped back her fur rising along her neck to the very tip of her tail. a massive beast loomed out in front of her it had a patchy coat that was black and white and it walked out, back to her it walked on-it walked on to the stepping stones! and into thunderclan territory! bluekit watched, stunned, she had to find mistpelt and fast she had to find some way to warn thunderclan! She ran back to the camp, thoughts spinning around inside her head. she called out for Mistpelt
Mistpelt! Mistpelt! where are you?! she screamed as loud as possible, Mistpelt!....







~Bluekit~

"Yes?" Mistpelt asked, looking up from the fresh-kill pile. "Wait, what were you doing outside of camp again!?"

I-I'll tell you later, but right now the thing is there was this massive black and white beast that smelt like crowfood that went into thunderclan territory! we have to warn them- i actally think there was two but it looked mean and they looked like they want food or they were hungry for cat blood, but have to warn them!!!
She talked very fast & she could hardly be understood she couldn't calm herself down.

"Calm down Bluekit, calm down!" Mistpelt meowed, suddenly knowledgeable to the situation. "We'd better head over there and warn them...I'll carry you, you can't run fast enough."

featherpaw came out from behind a tree ''No mistpelt! i will cary bluekit, you run towards thunder clan at top speed''she mewed grasping bluekit by the scruff of the neck''WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?''she said through a mouthfull of blue kit''RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''

i can carry myself, i mean i can run! she mewed squarming in featherpaw's tight grip. Anyway you're not holding me right! She squeaked painfully. She finally sqirmed out of her tight hold and ran on ahead, as fast as lightning then leaped onto the stepping stones just making it and going on but slipping into the river. trying to hold on to the sliperey rock but sliping away in the river.
Hel-! she mewed to be tossed under the dark water her head not popping up so soon....

Mistpelt grumbled as she ran towards Bluekit, "And this is why kits don't leave the camp." She lepted into the river, and swam towards Bluekit's bobbing head on the surface. She grabbed her by the scruff and swam back towards the RiverClan bank. She stepped onto the shore and padded up to Featherpaw, setting the kit onto the ground. "Featherpaw, please take her back to camp." She meowed, catching her breath. "I'll go warn ThunderClan." She ran back off in the other direction, over the stepping stones and outta sight. Making it to the camp by scenting a fresh cat-scent-trail, she went inside their camp and shouted, "Hello! Is anyone here!?"

''come on bluekit,lets head back you to camp'' she mewed''sorry i didnt hold you right,i havent had much practice.are you hurt? i can lick any wounds you have ive practiced''she mewed her motherly instinct kicking in.

Graystream and Firepaw were both inside the camp, and had recently returning from a Hunting Patrol. "What's wrong, Mistpelt?" Graystream asked as he and Firepaw greeted her.

I-I'm so c o l d... im sorry about dashing off like that... She mewed quitely while shivering.

Mistpelt took a second to catch her breath again. "One of my Clan mates says she saw a badger heading into your territory. Maybe even two, but she was too scared to know exactly how many." She meowed urgently, tipping her head towards the entrence.

"I agree." Graystream meowed in raised intrest. "We should go on a search party to chase it out of the forest." Graystream finished as his tail flinched at the thought of his first fight with a Badger.

"Would you like my help, or do you think you two can handle it on your own?" She asked, though was preparing to leave.

"what happened, Bluekit, did you fall into the river?" The voice was Mistypaws" here, lets get you some Dock for those cuts, and Feverfew for your chill."she said as she ran to the Medicine cats den for the supplies.
