Larchpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Flamestar leaped once again onto Highrock. Today they had yet another apprentice to become a Warrior, and it was also his other daughter. It was kinda cute how the sisters became Warriors on the same day. Good for them.

He raised his chin and let out the regular call: "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Skyclan meeting!"

Larchpaw walked over to the Highrock, her long fur smooth. Oh! Warrior Time! She sat down, her eyes sparkling. She had just the name in mind, but she knew it wouldn't be it. Larchsong... she echoed in her mind. But, that wouldn't be it.

ooc: Her name will be Larchpool! :D

"Larchpaw, please step forward." He meowed, looking down at Larchpaw with pride in his eyes.

Larchpaw stepped forward, puffing out her chest with pride.

Flamestar leaped down so he was in front of her, and raised his muzzle to the sky. He opened his mouth, beginning the ritual...

"I, Flamestar, leader of Skyclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Larchpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Larchpaw nodded. "I do."

BY THE POWERS OF TREE I INTERRUPT THIS CEREMONY FOR

Ic: "Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Larchpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Larchcloud. Starclan honors your bravery and courage, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Skyclan!" Flamestar finished, touching his nose to the New Warrior's head.

The Skyclan Leader then backed off a few steps when the ceremony was finished, and nodded proudly to his daughter.

"Larchcloud! Larchcloud!"
