Foxkit's ceremony

Stormstar leaped onto the Tallrock, his eyes narrowed as he let out a loud yowl. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather below the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!"

Twistedkit stumbled his way from the nursery, blinking the sleepiness from his eyes. He had spent almost all day asleep, to sad to do anything. The sunrise before, his father had told him that his ceremony was being put on hold, claiming that 'It should be somebody's else honor." What it meant, the young kit wasn't sure, but he was sure he knew who's ceremony it was, and that meant being alone in the nursery again, and he was even older then Foxkit!

Foxkit calmly padded out of the nursery, for smooth and shiny...ish. He was completly prerpared for this ceromony. On the inside, the ginger was bouncing around happily.

Patcheye wondered out of the warriors den she had a nice relaxing sleepy yet she missed her duties as an apprentice, yet she still did them and went on patrol. Seeing Foxkit outside looking up at the leader, smiling she purred 'You missed a spot" she smirked and flided her tounge across his head.

"Hnnng.." Foxkit flinched away from Patcheye. "I can groom my own fur, you know!" He shook his head to mess up the fur on his head again. Then he pressed agaisnt her, staring worriedly at Stormstar. "What...what if I mess up?" he squealed.

"You wont," she smiled trying to reassure the young cat "If your gonna mess up, you wouldn't mess up as bad as me when I became and apprentice, fur and moss flying everywhere" she purred with embarresment.

Stormstar gazed at the three cats group of cats gathered below. He fixed his gaze on Foxkit. "Foxkit, will you please step forward?"

Foxkit stepped forward, towards the whateverrock. Taking a deep breath, he stared up at his leader.

Minteyes sat in the crowd of cats as the young tom cat made his way to Tallrock.

Clearing his throat, Stormstar gazed down at the young Foxkit before him. “Foxkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Foxpaw." He paused as he gazed over the gathered cats, his gaze stopping on one certain calico she-cat. "Your mentor will be Patcheye. I hope Patcheye will pass all that she knows on to you. Patcheye, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Raccoonheart, and you have shown yourself to be strong and brilliant. You will be the mentor of Foxpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Foxpaw."

Patcheye nodded "Alright Stormstar! you won't regret it!" she purred happily, her first apprentice, and so soon too!
