Exploring Camp

It was a new day for Stormkit and he was somewhat eager to see the entire Riverclan camp so he decided to tumble on out of the nursery and tod over to the Apprentices den to have a look. "In a few moons I'll be in there" he squealed in exitement.

Speckledkit woke up in the nursery. She looked over at stormkit's bed eager to start playing. "Not again." she grumbled. Speckledkit stretched, looked over to see that the queens where still sleeping, and walked outside to go find Stormkit. "He is always doing this going out getting into trouble." she mumbled to herself as she walked out of the nursery.

Stormkit heard the thump of tiny pawsteps behind him and swished around to find that speckledkit was following him. Speckledkit was his denmate. Stormkit noticed that She was keeping an eye out for him ever since the incident at the river. "Oh Hi Speckledkit! I was just having a walk around camp to see what its like out of the nursery." Stormkit mewed with exitement at the thought of his denmate with him."

Ic: Greykit yawned, rolling his eyes as he heard the two plunder out of the nursery louder than a gang of badgers. He got to his paws and padded outside, looking around. He flinched as the bright sunlight shone in his eyes. Bad sun.

Stormkit Heard Greykit Come out of the nursery then shouted at him. "Hey Greykit! Wanna Come with us?"

Greykit perked his ears, narrowing his eyes in suspicion. "Where are we going?" He asked, quickly hopping over.

"Just checking out camp"! He mewed across the camp.

The little tom tilted his head. "Uh sure." He replied.

Stormkit Felt the morning air and felt a chill. He crept toward the warriors den and peeked in. "Hey guys! One day, it's gonna be us sleeping in that den"! he mewled with anticipation. Stormkit knew he couldn't rush life but he was just so eager to learn.

Greykit wanted to cuff him over the ear. Instead, he simply grabbed Stormkit's scruff and dragged him backwards a few whisker-lengths. "Frog-brain! Did you forget you were standing right by the warriors' den? You'll wake some one up!" He growled quietly, looking back to see if anyone indeed had waken up.

"Uh guys I don't think we should be in here." Speckledkit said backing away from the den. "We should go back to the nursery with all the other kits." It was getting colder outside and rain started to fall. Speckledkit shivered and started to walk back to the nursery before she got too wet and the queens would be able to tell she had been outside.

Stormkit admitted to himself that he was being a mouse-brain. "Yea Greykit. I think we should go back before anything bad happens. Stormkit mewed in agreement.

Speckledkit looked up at Stormkit in admiration. He was one of the bravest kits she had ever met and she admired him for that. But something about him just seemed odd. She thought about this while she walked back to the nursery. He is the best playmate ever but he's just unlike any other cat. He just has this talent of being able to do anything but without getting in trouble. He is like a fish that you just can't get your paws around.Then Speckledkit not knowing what to think mumbled to herself "Boys." and walked on.

Without Saying another word the three kits walked back to the nursery. It was only luck that no warriors saw us today he thought rather ashamed of himself.

Once they had gotten back to the nursery Speckledkit lay down and started to groom herself in attempt to get the water out of her silky fur. She looked up at Stormkit "I can't remember the last time we explored camp."
