Amnesia [Part 1]

It was a normal day in the Windclan territory. There were no sounds what so ever except the faint rustle of grass because of the breeze. The Windclan deputy stood in the grass her grey fur barely visible among the rocks, and grey-brown grass. The gray she-cat was searching for some food, Winclan needed some for the worst part of Leaf-bare has yet to come. Raccoonheart ears perked at a slit rustling sound. She crouched lower in the grass, each step she took seperated the grass farther, until she was finally able to see the rabbit. She waited for a moment before springing at the rabbit. She felt the rabbit run from her paws, and towards Shadowclan, but she didn't want to leave it. They needed the food. She gave a hiss, and started after the rabbit. She felt the scent markers go by her nose, and when she stopped she was on the thunder-path. She was frozen in spot as a monster was barreling towards her. She froze there until her brain forced her to flee. She jumped to the nearest side of the Thunder-path which was the Shadowclan side. She landed on one paw, she was about to put the others down, but fear overcame her as he paw gave out, and she tumbled, her head hitting a rock in the process. When she stopped rolling, she stayed on her side her whole body limp from pain. She looked around wondering where she was before, she closed her eyes letting darkness over take her.

Nightwing, who was on border patrol Noticed the (Anyonewho wants to jump in) WindClan deputy. "Oh no!" She bounded to the body. Was she hit by a monster? Glancing around for the others, she pulled the cat from the edge of the road. Then she studied the wounds. Racconheart had hit her head knocking her out.At least she isn't dead. She gave the She-cat a few licks waiting for help to arrive.

I also realized that no one knows Nightwing is deputy. :O

Gingerheart had been casually following behind Nightwing and Fallenpaw for their lovely border patrol they were having. It was a nice day out until the warrior had suddenly caught the scent of a tall grass that was just across the Thunderpath. It was an odd place to smell it though, since they weren't particularly close to the border, but something was off about it. As Gingerheart went to say something to the deputy, she realized that she had already noticed it. Bounding after Nightwing, she gasped as she saw the cat lying there unconscious. "What happened?" She asked, even though after she said it, she realized that no one was going to answer. The only cat that could was out cold and it wasn't like Nightwing or Fallenpaw could answer. They saw only what Gingerheart saw.

Nightwing looked up. "Help me get her to WindClan camp." She mewed quickly, pulling the limp deputy to her paws, the body wight all on Nightwing. She needed Gingerheart to lift her up between them two. "Why was she even on our territory?" She grunted, the deputy's tail lashing.

The Windclan deputy clenched her eyes are her consciousness started to come back. She heard voices but they sounded unfamiliar. She groaned from the pain she felt all over. She felt some fur on her side. She slowly opened her eyes, and the bright light came flooding in. Quickly she closed her eyes, only to try again. The light hurt her head. She blinked a couple of times trying to get her eyes used to the light. Slowly he strength came back. She stood on her own, and took her weight off of Nightwing. She came to sudden realization, as fear flooded her again. Raccoonheart spun to look at other cats that were there. She shrank back in fear. Who were they? Were they going to kill her? "Who are you?" She asked her voice a little shaken. She tried to remember what had happened but she couldn't remember anything. The only thing she knows is that she is in pain, and they do not seem friendly.

Nightwing felt the weight lift off of her side. "I am Nightwing, ShadowClan's new deputy." She mewed, takeing a few steps back. "Are you alright Raccoonheart?" Nightwing asked looking over the other deputy. She seemed fine besides her head. "Are you able to walk home?" Not wanting to walk the other deputy home, for her had more work for preparing for the attack of the rogue group then take a lost warrior home,

The grey she-cat look puzzled. Raccoonheart? Shadowclan? Deputy? Home? WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE? "Who is Raccoonheart? What is Shadowclan? What is a deputy? Where am I? Where is home?" The questions spilled out of her mouth, and finally after some questions she stopped. She stood looking at the two cats. "As far as I am concerned, I have no home... or a name.." What is my name? Do I have one? I will assume not. Raccoonheart turned to leave the two until she noticed the Thunder-path. She got curious, and started to poke at it with a paw. Her ears perked at a rumbling, and she jumped back in fear at the monster passing by. "What was that?!" She yowled not caring who listened.

While Nightwing tried to help this cat, she finally only recognized the Windclan deputy when Nightwing had said her name. Raccoonheart? What is she doing here? The warrior narrowed her eyes as the she-cat began to regain consciousness. She couldn't feel any remorse for the cat or the need to help her. If she was mouse-brained enough to come striding into the territory or even across the Thunderpath, she got what she deserved. But as Raccoonheart began questioning.. well, everything about her life, Gingerheart's apathetic attitude changed to complete curiosity. She couldn't remember anything? Well that wasn't good. "Maybe we should just take her across the Thunderpath. Let her own patrol find her and deal with the problem." Surely their medicine cat would know what to do," She meowed flatly before a thought had struck her. Did they even have a medicine cat yet? She thought back to when Falconfang had to come to see Softwhisper. Were they going to have to take the Windclan deputy too? The ginger she-cat growled at the thought.

But things changed once again as Raccoonheart seemed to cross the Thunderpath herself only to basically come face-to-face with a monster. Instantly, Gingerheart darted towards the deputy and pushed her away from the solid black surface. "Are you a fool? Surely you couldn't have forgotten about the Thunderpath! You could have been killed!" She hissed, hackles raised.

Raccoonheart flinched when the she-cat hissed at her. "Ohhhh So that is what it is.. Intresting.." She half-mewed to herself. She looked around, "Where are we? What is a patrol?" She asked looking up to the horizon, recalling the sentence Gingerheart said. She started to wonder before sitting down, and starting to lick her paw. She paused for a moment then mewed, "Why do I smell like grass?" She asked to no one in particular.

ic: Nightwing glanced back up at Gingerheart. "She doesn't remember anything! What makes you think she will know what is too dangerous for her or not?" she flinched as the monster ran by, fluffing up her fur, she looked at Raccoonheart, "We are going to take you to your clan." She deiced, and looked at Gingerheart, "You can come if you keep your muzzle shut, and let me do the talking." The deputy shook her self and shoved the WindClan deputy across the Thunderpath, headbutting her every time she stopped. She needed to me her training Fallenpaw, not taking Raccoonheart home! With another shove, they where on the other side. It was a long hull, and finally a black monster, roared past, the fumes tinkling the cat's nose. Nightwing wrinkled her nose and sneezed.
