An Assessment:: For all those assessment needy RC apps.

Reedpaw slipped the fish into the small hole he'd made when a scent wafted into his nose. He looked down to see the reeds wavering and the hint of brown fur. Dropping into a hunting crouch, he watched carefully. He didn't dare to breathe or move, the mouse's tail visible along with its twitching whiskers. And after what seemed like an eternity, he pounced. He landed squarely... right next to the rodent. With a jump it squeaked loudly before running away through the maze of reeds. Mouse-dung! Reedpaw cursed, gritting his teeth in frustration. Hunting was always a nice distraction from things. It required the utmost concentration.

Redpaw turned away from the river and tried to scent something. He pinpointed a watevole by scent and quickly crouched down. He stalked up to it and pounced. Redpaw landed on it back and nipped it's nek. He buried it and went back to the river.

Stormpaw felt more comfortable hunting fish then land creatures. He waited patiently for another to approach. When he saw one he shot his paw into the water in an attempt to catch it. He hooked it similarly to the last one and tossed it up onto the shore.

Reedpaw pushed deeper into the reeds as silently and as close to the ground as possible, as to not disturb the plants and prey that dwelled within them. That's when he came across a tiny clearing free of the long stems. It could have hardly counted as a nest. In the center was a small hole, and Reedpaw froze. A vole stuck its head up, catching sight of Reedpaw, before ducking back down. But not before Reedpaw took a quick swing at it. His claws caught on the vole's pale fur and he wrenched it out of its hiding place, dropping it in front of him. It scrambled to its feet as a last minute attempt at escape, but Reedpaw once again wrapped his jaws around its small neck and squeezed tight, killing the vole as quickly and painlessly as possible, but it still gave out a painful little squeak.

Redpaw hovered over the River, shadow looming behind him. He spotted the small flash of silver and hooked his paw. He threw his paw silently but quickly under the water. He sighed and decided to hunt land creatures again.

Stormpaw was beginning to bore of catching fish, but he was better at it than hunting voles or mice. He swung his paw at the water once again as a fish passed. Unfortunately he only succeeded in making a splash and scaring all the nearby fish.

Reedpaw trotted back to the hole and dropped his vole in, watching the other apprentices at the river. They didn't seem to be having the same luck as him. With all that splashing, he decided against it and turned back to the reeds, pushing through. The apprentice scanned everything around him for any sign of movement when he saw it. A mouse flashed out of the thin roots the reed clump , practically over his paws. He cursed as it moved right over him. How'd I miss that?! he thought with a groan, moving back towards the shore. Sunningrocks was a source of prey too...

Redpaw slipped through the thick bundle of leaves trying to make no sound. He pinpointed a water vole and crouched down. He stalked it silently. When he was a tail length away, he pounced. The small vole squeaked under his paws and he tried to kill it as quickly as possible.
