Who knows about the badger?

Embershade was out hunting. She currently had caught a squirrel and a mouse. One more until I can go to camp. She glanced at where she buried her prey. Under the root of a tree. Safe. She scented a mouse and dropped into hunter's position. She was about to pounce when she heard paw steps. She turned around slowly, and her eyes met with a badger's eyes. At that moment, a huge paw hit her back, and she collapsed. Her eyes were still open, searching for help. "B-b-badger!" She managed to get out.

OOC: badger. You just HAD to bring in a badger, didn't you?

IC:
A hiss errupted from behind Embershade; Dewclaw had been on her hunting patrol. She leapt at the badger's leg, trying to avoid its wildly swinging claws.

OOC: CURRENTLY I HAVE BEEN REALLY BORED. I was looking in RiverClan and such, and someone mentioned a badger coming into ThunderClan territory. I just had to make it realistic. XD

IC: Embershade saw Dewclaw attack the badger, and a sharp claw pierce her skin. She got up, ignoring the pain, and climbed a tree. Embershade clawed her way to the end of the branch, just above the badger. She dropped out of the tree onto the badger's back. She used her unsheathed claws and scratched the badger's back as hard as she could.

Dewclaw saw Embershade jump into the tree, but that was about it. She was distracted long enough to let go of the badger and then be swatted away with large claws, a gash left under her chin. She yowled a dreadful cry, hoping someone else would hear and come to help as she jumped back at the badger, trying for its back.

As Embershade saw Dewclaw screech, she batted the badger even harder. She jumped off the badger, and over to Dewclaw. "Are you okay?" Embershade asked Dewclaw. One of the badger's paws swiped her back, leaving a deep gash. She turned around to fight the badger once more. She scraped her unsheathed claws down it's face, and she felt the badger leave an even deeper gash on her belly.

"Watch yourself!" Was all she could say before her mouth was filled with fur and blood. She had gripped onto its back, clawing her way up to its head and ripping skin and pelt around its eyes, with her teeth buried in its neck.


OOC: We can't kill it. It went through, like, two other Clans' territories, and entire patrols couldn't end it. So yeah.

OOC: Let's just scare it away.

IC: Embershade gasped. There was a taste of blood in her mouth, and she felt her scratches bleeding. She took a deep breath, and sneaked up on the badger. Too late, the badger heard her coming. It aimed for her face and left a deep scratch. She didn't stop, though. She took her unsheathed claws and raked them across it's nose. She scented more blood, that was good. Her scratches were bleeding even more now, she could barely take it.

With a loud and angry roar, or what sounded like a roar, the badger shook away the warrior and headed away- running, as far as it could. It appeared to be heading for SkyClan. Dewclaw rushed to Embershade's side. She was just thrown off, but the other she-cat appeared to have much worse injuries. "It's left, now." She said throw a mouthful of blood. "We need to get you back, fast. I wish Redfern was still around."

Embershade heard Dewclaw meow it was gone. She sighed, more blood running out of her gashes. Embershade was so tired... She closed her eyes in the middle of the forest.

The gray she-cat begane to lightly lick the blood from Embershade's wounds. She knew nothing about healing, but leaving these wounds open and bleeding too long would be bad. "We need to get you to camp- let's go." She slowly nudged Embershade to her paws and helped along, back to camp.

OOC: New topic or something?

OOC: Yeah, sure. You create it at ThunderClan camp.

IC: Embershade felt herself being helped back to camp, her eyes heavy. She was sooooo tired. Maybe it was because of the loss of blood, she thought.
