Meeting of 11/23/2012

Kestrelpaw squirmed anxiously in front of the entrance to the Moonstone. This would be her first visit, and she was excited.

Silentfeather looked around for the other medicine cats and was almost disappointed to see that they weren't there yet.

” Will thwy be here soon?” Kesterelpaw asked anxiously.

"I'm not sure Kestrelpaw." she replied.

” Awww.” She said, flattening his ears.

Mallowpaw rushed up to Silentfeather and Kestrelpaw, his eyes shining and his spotted face bright. He ran up to them, his tail swishing back and forth happily as he smiled at the Medicine cat and the apprentice. "Hi!" he greeted, hesitating a second to catch his breath. He had ran the whole way and left his mentor, Softwhisper, behind.
"I'm Mallowpaw-- ShadowClan Medicine cat apprentice!" he mewed energetically. "This is my first time to the Moonstone! I'm so excited!" Mallowpaw shook his fur excitedly. "I just became Medicine cat apprentice to Softwhisper not too long ago!"

Kestrelpaw bounced over to the other cat, Mallowpaw. ” Hi! I'm Kestrelpaw! I'm the SkyClan medicine cat apprentice! It's my first time too!” she squeeked, brimming to the top in excitment.

Mallowpaw looked at Kestrelpaw, a large smile still spread across his face. "Awesome! I love being a medicine cat, so far!" Mallowpaw meowed happily, walking around in a quick circle.

” Me too!” She agreed, hopping around next to him. ” I've never met a cat from another clan. You kind of stink!” She saod, giggling. Her voice was silly and cheerful, as she did not know she was insulting the young tom.

Silentfeather mewed "Kestrelpaw, what you just said might have insulted Mallowpaw." Her eyes were quite impossible to tell what she was thinking.

Softwhisper came huffing behind Mallowpaw a few moments later. "Mallowpaw!" He sighed. "I told you not to go too far ahead of me." Softwhisper sat down next to his apprentice, nodding to the SkyClan she-cats.

Silentfeather dipped her head to Softwhisper, mewing "Good to see you again Softwhisper. How's ShadowClan been?"

Softwhisper's expression softened. He looked over to Silentfeather. "I . . it's been great. Glorious, really. Kits are healthy and injuries are seldom," he said, sitting up a little straighter. He was proud of his Clan. "And SkyClan? How are things?" He honestly cared for other cats, and he didn't want any bad news from SkyClan's end -- even if ShadowClan was his loyalty, he could still send his best wishes to the other Clans.

"Everything is fine in SkyClan. We have many new apprentices, though it seems we're losing our Clanmates somehow. Kits and warriors have suddenly disappeared." Silentfeather's gaze was a bit depressed, though she didn't mention the sickness both she and Flamestar had. However, it was obvious that she was sick when she started coughing violently.

Oh, no. Cats were disappearing in SkyClan? Perhaps it was Twolegs. Or something much worse. Softwhisper was going to console her, but the coughing fit alarmed him. He looked at Medicine Cat, concerned. "Are you alright?" He asked, a bit frightened. He didn't want to catch anything. Depending on what it was, he could kill his whole Clan if he left them sick and without a medicine cat. He took a step back.
