October 2012 Gathering

"Yeah," he nodded and twitched his tail again, thinking about what it'd be like to be leader.

OC: "Falconpaw, would you like to meet me here tomorrow at moon high?"

Falconpaw blinked and turned to Greypaw. Something didn't seem right about meeting another clan cat after a gathering... but they were friends, right? Could it really be that harmful? Maybe just one time. "Sure, I guess I can get over here."

OoC: Okay, last post I'll make in here for awhile, promise. XD And I have to make the topic? o3o

Emberpaw followed Mosspelt into the clearing. Tonight was the gathering! She finally got to come because she was an apprentice! Emberpaw sat down behind Mosspelt and waited for the gathering to start.

Mosspelt looked over at Emberpaw "Excited?"

"Really excited." Emberpaw replied, her tail twitching with excitement.

Ooc: I think it is time for this gathering to begin, don't you?

Ic: Stormstar's ears flickered as he took a step forward. The random chattering had gone on long enough. Raising his muzzle slightly, he let out a yowl that echoed in the large clearing. "It is time for the Gathering to begin!" His warm yellow eyed sparkled as he waited for each cat to quiet down, before he continued on with his speaking. "I'll go first. WindClan is doing well, prey is still running as well as ever, and I believe that we will have two new warriors by the time of the next gathering." Also, it seems out beloved medicine cat has gone missing, Stormstar added in his mind, his eyes losing some of their sparkle as he thought it. It was true that Wildheart had disappeared, and Stormstar was up almost 24/7 as he watched the moor for his brother to come striding back into the camp, but after so long, Stormstar was almost losing hope. Letting out a soft, sad sigh, the large tom took a step back to let the next leader step forward.

Silvershade stepped forward. Might aswell get this over with, she thought. "RiverClan is faring well, other than Froststar being unwell. By the time of the next gathering we aswell will have two new warriors. The rivers are plentiful, and soon we will have three new apprentices, one a medicine cat apprentice. Also, Frogfoot drowned in the River not long ago." Hopefully our new apprentice won't have too much trouble learning without a proper mentor, she added silently.

Snowpaw watched in interest. Riverclan's not doing well. she said to herself. No proper leader, no medicine cat. I wonder how things will go. she finished.

Flamestar looked in shock at Silvershade, but quickly looked away. A medicine cat apprentice, not yet earned her full name, without a mentor?

That was Riverclan's problem, though. He stepped forward next. "Skyclan is thriving. Coldheart is expecting kits, and we have a new apprentice: Icepaw!" He announced proudly. "Starclan has treated us well, and we expect healthy moons to come."

Lionstar had when quiet the entire time. Now he stepped forward after Flamestar. "Thunderclan is strong and well. There is much prey, and we have a new warrior. Welcome, Dewclaw!" He meowed simply, giving away no emotion. Thunderclan was doing pitiful. But he wasn't about to show it in the slightest bit. He spoke nothing of why Mosspelt was sitting in the spot where Frostfoot used to sit, as deputy. All they needed to know was that Mosspelt was deputy now, Nothing else.

Dewclaw held her head up when her leader announced that she was now a warrior. It was hard to tell they were doing that badly with the way she looked; she had not yet experienced the severe cold and starvation Leaf-Bare would soon produce.
