Dewpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Lionstar leaped onto Highrock, scanning the camp. He smiled when he spotted the Apprentices' den. Today was a special day.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here beneath the Highrock for a Thunderclan meeting!" The leader yowled, using the regular summoning.

Dewpaw padded from the aformentioned den, stretching and smoothing down a stray tuft of fur. She sat underneath the High Rock, wondering just how many apprentices there was going to be by the end of today.

"Dewpaw step forward." Lionstar meowed.

Smiling a giant smile, the gray she-cat did as told.

Lionstar looked proudly at his apprentice before raising his chin and announcing, "I, Lionstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Dewpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"


ooc: Warrior name? Or do you want me to pick it?

OOC: Uuuuuum.... uh... hm... I didn't exactly plan for this... Maybe Dewfang, but if you can come up with a better one, please do :P

IC: "I do." She said, holding her head up proudly.

ooc: I'll change this if you don't like it. I tried to fit something relevant to fang in, but fang itself sounded a bit weird in my opinion.

ic: "Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Dewpaw, from this moment you will be known as Dewclaw. Starclan honors your loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan!" Lionstar declared.

The newly named Dewclaw's smile did not fade, but she didn't say a word, for she knew that a silent vigil came next.
