A New Sunny Day

Reedkit toppled over as Graykit pounced on him with an oof, his pelt getting dirty in the process. Goodness.

Greykit tumbled over Reedkit a little and rolled onto her back laughed her tounge stuck out a little and her paws curled her tiny claws unseathed.

Silvershade laughed as the kits tumbled over eachother. "..You're right, Frogfoot. But when all of these kits grow up then there will be many more."

Froststar nodded, the shine in her eyes easy to see. "I agree. Our clan won't be small for long. And anyway, even now, as small of a clan we are we are still strong." She said, her tail still flicking back and forth happily. She was quite young for a leader, and still had some of that energy the kits playing around possessed. She was still extremely wise and calm for her age, but definitively not all the time.

Acornkit smiled slightly as another kit joined them. Wow, wasn't she a playful soul. She watched with interest as the other kit pounced on him and unshealthed her claws, then let out a gasp. "Reedkit, are you okay?" She mewed nervously standing next to her fellow kit and staring down at him. Making a bigger deal over this than it truely was.

Greykit sat still suddenly really calm and sheathed her tiny claws, she grazed her rough pink tongue and rubbed it over her ear, her eyes big and innocent.

"What happened?" Frogfoot mewed, padding over to the kits.

Acornkit frowned as the kit now pretended to be innocent! Oh my! "It's nothing Frogfoot." The small kit mumbled shooting a blaming glance at Greykit. "Just some cats playing very rough." She mewed in a clam voice, staring nervously at Greykit, hoping not to be her next victom.

Frogfoot followed her gaze. "Greykit...? Do you know what happened?" He asked calmly.

She shook her head slightly "I was only playing" she mewed.

Reedkit stood up, still dirty after the encounter. "It's fine!" he announced, not wanting to make a scene. All the attention on him getting pounced on was getting him rather embarassed. "I'm not hurt!"

Acornkit, clearly not giving up on the fact that he was almost hurt, frowned. "I'm sorry for being so worried. I just didn't think we needed any hurt or sick cats." She mewed modestly, wrapping her tail around a fluffy paw. Can you say wise beyond her age?

"Alright." Frogfoot huffed. "Well, be careful, okay?" He mewed, padding off.
