Pondkit and Shadekit's Apprentice Ceremonies

Shadowstar had already gotten the kits as she jumped up onto the large rock that overlooked the entire camp. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" She yowled.

Sagewhisker padded out of the warriors den and sat down in the center of the clearing.

Dawnlight nosed her way out of her den covered in bits of herbs. She shook off her coat before joining Sagewhisker under the rock.

Pondkit padded quietly behind her leader, a bit unnerved by all the others. She sat beneath the Jaggedrock as Shadowstar called for the others, and even more cats emerged. Pondkit ruffled her fur as she felt as if all eyes were upon her. /totally not self centered. |D

Shadekit padded out of the nursery behind Pondkit, a faint smile on his face. May totally knew this was here. <3

While the kits padded out of the nursery, Shadowstar conitnued. "We have gathered today to make these two kits apprentices. Shadekit and Pondkit, from now until you receive your warrior names, you will be known as Shadepaw and Pondpaw."

Shadepaw grinned, and stepped up closer to the Jaggedrock. He looked up at Shadowstar with a wandering gaze; wondering who his mentor would be.~

Shadowstar looked down at the newly named apprentices. With a smile, she continued. "Shadepaw, your mentor shall be Sagewhisker. Pondpaw, your mentor shall be Greystreak. May they teach you everything they know," she then hopped down and awaited a celebration for the apprentices.

Shadepaw smiled. Hunting competiton! Yesssssss! he thought. He walked up to Sagewhisker and awkwardly touched noses with him.

Greystreak padded up to her new apprentice, touching noses with her gently. "Wanna start training?" she asked.

Sagewhisker smiled and touched noses with his nose apprentice. "We'll start tomorrow the moment the moon rises," he told the smaller tom.

"Okay!" he squeaked, smiling.
