Wandering Some More~

Happy was wandering ShadowClan territory again. Why? For some reason, he wasn't set out to hunt today. He was a little expectant of meeting someone. His only friend. Though, he had to think up an excuse. He just needed some way to get away from his mother for a while. She was always up his arse and wouldn't ever leave him alone. The grey tom glanced around, inhaling the musty scents of the territory, which he had gotten fairly used to. I was chased by rogues, he thought, remembering the scratch on his cheek. It still stung even though it had just been the other night. He continued walking in a slow pace, acting as if he was just casually passing through.

Sagepaw was actually on his way to post in his assessment, but ran into this topic instead. He caught on to the strange scent and chased it down straight into the middle of the territory, eventually running into the back of Happy. He was shocked and unsure of himself for a moment. Why on earth did an enemy just waltz on into their land... Didn't they catch the scent markers?
He quickly shook the thoughts away got down low, like both Greyfeather and Shadowstar had taught him, and let out a fierce yowl. "INTRUDER!" Sagepaw leapt and unsheathed his claws, bowling into the shape of Happy and attempting to claw at his shoulder and ears.

ic: Happy gave a shriek, and felt himself being tackled to the ground. Whining with fear, his claws ripped through the muddy earth as he squealed. He thought for a moment while he was screaming with fear. What would his mother think? Instinctively, he lashed up, claws unsheathed. When he landed on his paws, he landed with a wobble, staggering. Quickly, he meowed a, "sorry!" for some apparent reason. Flattening his ears, he backed away.

Sagepaw spat at the cat and raked at his ears before Happy lashed back up, drawing a lot of blood, but not hurting Happy too much. It was a scare tactic that he was taught. If you hurt their ears it make their face bleed a lot and make the cat freak out, but it could never really do anything.
He flicked a flat ear when the stranger said he was sorry, but quickly ignored it. As Happy started to back away, Sagepaw simply advanced forward. "Get off our territory!" he demanded.

ic: Happy ducked down, blood streaming down his face. "L-- leave me alone!" he cried, backing into a tree, hiding his face. If he ran, his mother would surely punish him for sure! If he stayed, this cat would tear his other ear off! What do I do!? he thought helplessly.

Sagepaw felt a twinge of pity for the small cat, and he didn't want to hurt him. He silently wished that the little one would just run away and that would be the end up it; his ShadowClan pride would never let these emotions show on his face and powered his fierce growl. The tom's green eyes flickered. "I'm warning you! Leave now or I'll shred your pelt off!"

ic: Happy protested, "but I'm here to meet someone!" It sort of just spilled out like that. He tried to hide what he said, but it was too late. He shifted uneasily, watching.

Sagepaw's green eyes flickered with curiosity, but he didn't want to hear anymore. He was almost a warrior and there would be no way he'd let an outsider just prance around their land like nothing, it was a warriors job to defend it against anything... Even rogues that looked only a little younger than he did, who obviously didn't want to fight, ... Just chase him out, Sagepaw! He'd tell Shadowstar what he had heard later.
"I warned you!" The small tom yowled and leaped after happy once again, attacking his shoulder and hind, trying to send him running.

Sagepaw sniffed, making sure that the intruder had gone away.

Dawnlight watched from the bushes the whole happening. She didn't want to come out, because she knew Sagepaw would tell on her. She could just make up a story on how she helped the rouge because he was badly injured on the territory, and she wanted to make sure that he was healing up nicely... No.. Sagepaw wouldn't believe that. Dawnlight decided to sit there and wait for Sagepaw to go away. If not she could meet Happy some where else right?

Sagepaw, troll of the topic, was about to rush back to camp to tell Shadowstar about the intruder when the scents blew downwind of him. His ears instantly raised into air, hearing for any signs of movement, but heard none. "Dawnlight?" His green gaze flickered twords where the scent had washed in.

Dawnlight,wanting to burn this troll, found some leaves that she could pretend to be herbs, and called out "What is it Sagepaw?" she asked trying to sound like she was busy.

"What are you doing out here?" He frowned, tilting his head to the side. "Didn't you see the filthy rogue? ... Did you see me chase him out?" The last part was added with a little childish, eager demeanor.

Dawnlight gave a frown, "I'm sorry, I didn't I was busy making sure this herb supply was growing." She mewed, and stepped out of the bushes. "But I sure you did great. Shadowstar will be proud of you. Maybe even make you a warrior sooner!" She purred.
