Wandering around

Dawnpaw was up early and she had gotten her little sister out of the nursery. She was proud of her sister, she'd be an apprentice soon! But today Dawnpaw and Mistkit had to do something important. Find their parents. When they first started out of their territory Dawnpaw accidently crossed into  Skyclan Territory. Dawnpaw knew they were going to be caught, but what if their parents had come here? It was a slim possibility, but Dawnpaw decided to take the risk and try anyway, if they got caught, she'd pick up her sister, and run like wind! Probably into another clan territory so they didn't suspect Shadowclan. All they had to do was disguise their scent, so she rolled in a mud patch nearby. "Come on Mistkit! Roll in that mud and let's go!" She padded across the border confidentially.

Mistkit quickly hopped into the mud, rolling around. Then trotted after her sister. " Do you think other cats will be around?" she mewed, looking into the green forest

"I don't know. Probably not, we're up early so the others should be asleep. We need to get back before the others wake up and get worried though." Said Dawnpaw.

"Ok" she said and sniffed the air. She heard a rustle nearby. Her ears twitched and looked at some bushes. " Did you hear that...?" she mewed nervously.

Her head swiveled around towards the bushes. It was probably prey, but she didn't want to take any chances, "Run!" She hissed to Mistkit, and ran deeper into the territory.

Fallensnow's ears flicked, she thought that she had heard voices but they seemed to be gone now. Pushing her way past the bushes she sniffed around in the ground, a bit curious to see who was up so early besides herself. A weary look crossed Fallensnow's face once she realized the scent. "Hmm.. Shadowclan? This deep in the territory, this is unacceptable. Do they not know their own borders." Fallensnow said outloud, her green eyes narrowing. "I better see if their still around here somewhere, Breezestar would be outraged if I don't do something about this." With that thought the queen quickly followed the scent trail, seeming to be right on the mark. Her ear's gave a perk once her eyes saw some grey fur running off. A growl rose up to her throat, "Hey! Stop there intruders." Fallensnow spat harshly. Her tail lashing as she quickly caught up.

She stared at the cat who had caught them. Maybe if she explained the cat would let them go home. Standing in front of Mistkit, she said, "We're sorry we're on your territory. We were trying to find our parents who left us after Mistkit's birth. We were mousebrained to think that they were here. Please let us go home."

Mistkit looked at her paws and nodded. " It's true, we were looking for our parents!" she mewed bravely and looked at her sister.

Fallensnow looked at the intruders a pitiful expression on her face. All they were doing was looking for some parents that ditched them? The queen had a soft spot for kit's she her-self was a mother but by now all of her kit's have grown and should be having their warriors ceremonys for awhile now. They seemed to wanted to go home but she couldn't allow that. It was already early in the morning and if they come from shadowclan then they have long ways to go. Besides not all clans will be very accepting, Fallensnow had no choice, but to bring them to camp.

"Sorry.. I have no choice but to bring you to my leader, it's not safe for an apprentice and kit wandering around. Once in camp you can rest up and go back to camp. That is once I have explained this to my leader." Fallensnow had mewed sorrowful, green eyes turning gloomy. She gently nuged both of them forwards with her muzzle. "However you have nothing to be afraid of, Breezestar is a kind and gentle cat, he'll make sure that when you return home you return safely." Fallensnow had promised them, a gentle smile on her face. "Camp isn't to far, we'll be there soon." She told the shadowclanners who looked like they needed a rest indeed.

" Th- Thank you" , she stammered, still a bit scared. She slowly padded forward along with her sister.

Dawnpaw followed after Mistkit silently. She really didn't want to go back to Skyclan Camp, and she was going to get in a lot of trouble with her mentor, who was also leader of Shadowclan, for bringing her little sister out of camp. They did just want to find their parents, but she didn't think anyone really understood them. Nobody took care of them as kits, and all Dawnpaw wanted was to find her parents for Mistkit. She couldn't take care of Mistkit all the time, she was just an apprentice and she had training to do. She let out a sigh as she followed her sister and the warrior back to camp.
