Hunting Expedition

The member 'Badge' has done the following action : Dices roll

Icepaw nodded. "Thanks. Yours is bigger than mine though!" He purred.
Suddenly, his tail twitched and he perked his ears. "I think I hear a nest..." Icepaw whispered, putting his nose to the ground and crawling about. Soon, he stopped at a small hole. He began digging rapidly. "Heads up!" He yowled as rabbits swarmed out of the den. There had to be at least 5 of them!

Icepaw darted forward, leaping after two who seemed to be mates, as they stayed close together(what do I know about rabbits? >.>). One of them managed to streak ahead and over the hills, while the other was limp in his paws in almost an instant. Dropping the prey, he ran after other ones who tried to escape. (I'm not posting until after you though :P)

Stormpaw glanced at one of them, bigger then the other two that Ice wasn't going after, most likely the oldest. He gave it a chase. Sadly it got away and he let out a small growl, before glancing back at Icepaw to see if he got any.

Icepaw bolted ahead just as Stormpaw looked his way. He streaked after the plump rabbit, launching himself toward it and grabbing it in his claws. He tugged it towards him and bit down on it's neck. The rabbit went limp and Icepaw dragged it back to Stormpaw, placing it at his feet. "I saved your prey!" He purred. "That was a nice spot though. I didn't see one this big come out in that flurry of white fur!" He mewed, looking around to see if the others had escaped.

Stormpaw nodded, letting out a huff. "Yea and at least we got some nice prey. Should we look for more or wait for Runningfoot and Shiningpaw to come back?"

Icepaw shrugged. "I don't know...What do you think?" He mewed. Stormpaw was older than him, giving him more rights on decisions.

Stormpaw thought for a moment. "Let's hunt then. The Clan is growing, and we will need all the prey that we can get. The kits might like to try different kinds of prey. Lets at least get one more piece of prey each." He turned and looked around, tasting the air. He saw a dove sitting there, pecking at the ground. He slowly moved toward it, then leaped. The dove noticed him and started to take off, but Stormpaw landed on it and quickly killed it with a clean blow to it's neck with his paw. He picked it up and padded over to Icepaw, smiling. "Got one."

Icepaw purred. "A natural! I envy your skills, Stormpaw!" He teased, suddenly perking his ears. He flicked his tail at a thrush pulling up a worm nearby. He stalked it silently, before releasing a long pounce. Unfortunately he jumped too long, and leaped straight over it. The thrush squawked and flew quickly into the air, towards Stormpaw.
