A Secret Meeting

Aurapaw stepped away suspiciously from the two cats, giving the WindClan apprentice a rather fearful expression.

Rainpaw forced her fur to lie flat.

Tigerclaw stepped protectively in front of Aurapaw and growled.

Rainpaw merely sat and looked straight ahead, her eyes glistening.

Tiger sat across from Rain, her claws unshethed, her fangs bared and red eyes aglow.

Aurapaw tilted his head curiously as he looked at the ShadowClan warrior, unaware of her incentive for protecting him. Instead of speaking up and possibly starting a quarrel, he steadily began backing away towards ThunderClan territory.

Rainpaw narrowed her ice blue eyes. There was no mercy in those eyes. She usually upset kits back at camp with this look.

"Its all right, young Thunder Clan apprentice." Tigerclaw said sweetly, examining her extra long and sharp claws, blood stains glistening on them, showing off to Rain.

Rainpaw sat and looked at Aurapaw. There was a small hint of sadness that didn't go unmissed by any in that clearing.

Aurapaw, although not knowing anything about these two cats, felt a slight pang of remorse and depression as he looked back at Rainpaw. "P-Perhaps I should leave..." he stuttered after a momentarily short pause.

She smirked as she started circling Rainpaw. "What is your name, young Thunder Clan apprentice?" she asked.

Rainpaw snorted. "I hope you're talking to him, and not me, because I would NEVER get mistaken for a Thunderclan cat". She said this last part through her gritted teeth. She watched Tigerclaw's proggression.

He abruptly turned to face Tigerclaw, trying to divert his attention from the WindClan apprentice. "Aurapaw," he replied with pride concealed in his tone.
