A Secret Meeting

Rainpaw slipped into the hollow, looking around suspiciously.

Aurapaw steadily made his way closer to Fourtrees, remembering about how he insisted on leaving camp for his first time on his own. As he drew nearer, he picked up a faint, unfamiliar scent as his eyes fell upon the WindClan apprentice.

Tigerclaw padded out to meet Aura, but paused as she scented Rain.

Rainpaw lifted her head and sniffed the air. She scented Shadowclan and Thunderclan, but she wasn't sure who it was. She did smell a warrior, though, and she was suddenly slightly frightened. She sat down and said, seemingly to noone, "Welcome, friends"

Tigerclaw padded into the light and sat down accross from Rain, silent.

Aurapaw remained hidden, unsure of what would happen if his position was compromised. Curiosity, however, persisted him to introduce himself, but his body refused to budge.

Rainpaw nodded to Tigerclaw, and without looking up, said "Come out, THunderclan apprentice. We won't hurt you"

Somehow enticed by the WindClan apprentice's elegant and harmless proposal, Aurapaw cautiously padded closer, keeping his claws unsheathed.

Rainpaw turned to face him, her tail swishing angrily. "You can put those away" she said, indicating his claws.

Aurapaw refused to let his guard down, wondering if he should instead bolt back into the forest and avoid a cataclysmic, life-threatening encounter. "Why should I?" he hissed threateningly.

Tigerclaw looked at Aura kindly and motioned him to sit next to her with her tail.

Rainpaw growled, annoyed at this apprentice's nerve. "Just put them away, and nobody has to get hurt" she muttered in the soft, angry way.

Aurapaw reluctantly sheathed his claws and made his way closer to Tigerclaw, strafing to the side warily as he circled around her before sitting beside the warrior.

Tigerclaw purred and faced Rainpaw.

Rainpaw's teeth were bared, and her claws were flexing in and out. Sure, she didn't have battle trainging yet, but she was sure she could beat this dummy at a fight. Her tail swished at the leaves behind her.
