Shadowstar's ears flattened against her head. "I'm sure that Windclan is well taken care of now that they are with Riverclan. Did you not see them before? Their numbers are dwindling and their leader hasn't even shown up for the Gathering! And as for repayment, if it was your victory, what do they have to repay you for? You have kept your independence, is that not enough payment?"

"Did he not come,or was he not allowed to come?" Stonestar pointed out "If they are one clan perhaps Riverclan does not even consider Wildstar a leader anymore. Who knows what he could have done to Windclan? By how bloodthirsty he was when he attacked us I am afraid for them. There is no doubt in my mind they will try to attack us again if this cherade goes on. Balance must be restored and payment must be made until the next gathering"

Duskfur cheered at the brilliant responce from Stonestar, This is why we are allies!

Moonfrost's fur stood on end. As Duskfur cheered, Moonfrost yowled in disapproval. She was about to flip a table, but she keep her fortitude in check whenever she calmly spoke. "You makes it sound as if RiverClan tried to murder you all, to wipe you off the face of the Earth. Sleepystar isn't cruel, and he hasn't laid a paw on WindClan." RiverClan is working towards a greater goal, and whether or not you want to be apart of it is your problem. She thought bitterly. Not a lot set Moonfrost on edge, but this definitely did.

Ivypaw blinked "I agree with Stonestar and Duskfur. After what happened for the clans to be successful we need to be balanced!" she argued. Wow.. she thought I must listen to politics better than I think I do..

Sparrowflight stood up on four paws and yowled in harsh disapproval in time with Moonfrost, she was still a warrior though and felt no right to take the stage at the gathering, but the deputy said near everything she felt she could. 'Stupid frog-brains! This is StarClan's wish! What gives them the right-mind to object?!' she thought and shot a glare at Sleepystar. And how could he just sit there and take it all?
Though, the glare then shot at a ThunderClan apprentice.

Stormpaw was trembling, not from fear, but because she was trying harder than she ever did before to control herself and not jump up and go start trying to shred Sleepystar or Shadowstar. If it wasn't obvious enough she would lose against a clan leader, there was also no fighting at gatherings. Stormpaw simply dug her claws deep into the ground and shut her eyes, barely controlling herself.

Raincloud noticed Stormpaw's hostility. She padded over to her apprentice and mewed in a calm voice, "Calm yourself. You should respect others' opinions, especially at a Gathering."

Stormpaw sighed and relaxed. "I know, but have you noticed that Shadowstar pretty much objects to almost everything about what Stonestar has to say? Even when it's none of her buisness." She muttered quietly, careful not to disrupt the other cats as they listened.

"The whole point of the Gatherings is for leader's to voice their opinions. You may disagree, but Shadowstar has every right to object to what Stonestar has to say," Raincloud mewed calmly.
