Nightkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Ghoststar when to the nursery. She's been reluctant to see her sickly kit. But she had to cat up and face her sooner or later. She had to get Nightkit. "Nightkit..." She called softly. Hoping Spiritkit was sleeping.

Nightkit looked up "Hi Ghoststar"

Ghoststar sighed. Her kit was. "Hello Nightkit. Ready for apprenticeship?"

"ooooo yeah" he said happily

"Then let us go." Ghoststar said softly and walked out of the Nursery, sighing happily.

Nightkit quickly groomed himself and followed Ghoststar proudly with his head held high as he followed her

Ghoststar jumped atop of Jagged Rock and called, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey meet at Jagged Rock for a clan meeting!"

Nightkit turned and yelled "Its my apprentice ceremony!!!!"

Ghoststar smiled. "Nightkit it is time for your name to be changed and for you to start learning how to protect the clan. So your new name will be Nightpaw."

IC: "Your mentor will be Scarletfire. I hope she passes on her wisdom to you." Ghoststar said, and at that she lept from Jagged Rock and to her den.

NIghtkit turned and looked for his mentor

Shadowsong had been miraculously sitting there the whole time. Whenever Nightpaw's name was changed, she gave him a look of pride. "Nightpaw, Nightpaw!" She cheered.

Scarletfire was staring into space, but suddenly snapped into reality hearing her name called. Wh- what!? Do I FINALLY get an apprentice? She hopped to her paws and touched her nose with her new apprentice.

"When do we start training?" asked the new apprentice
