Tawny's Herb/Partial Border Patrol :3

"Do you want some new moss?" Tawnypaw mewed,noticing the moss nests hadn't been used in a long time,and would be a bit stale now.

Ebonyroot nodded yes, happily. 'I can tell already...' she thought, 'You'll be good for our clan... Just be sure to walk the road I and Moonsage have, stay clear of Deathberries path... And don't make the mistakes I have.' The former medicine cat happily added another dandelion to the bramble wall, catching the eyes of Shadowsong.

Tawnypaw cheerily bounced out of the elders den,and into the medicine cats den and she grabbed some moss.She then padded back to the elders den."Ebonyroot,can you get up,please?" she mewed,holding her new moss bed inbetween her teeth.

Ebonyroot nodded and padded out of the way.

Tawnypaw laid down the moss."Now you can sit down again" Tawnypaw mewed cheerfully

Goldkit bounded into the Elders Den, his golden eyes wide and playful and his golden pelt like flames in the sun. "Hi!" he squeaked, looking at Ebonyroot. "Are you Ebonyroot?" He bounded over to her, smilling happily.

"Oh hello there Goldkit!" purred Tawnypaw."Yes,this is Ebonyroot"

Ebonyroot nodded happily and gazed down at Goldkit. 'Hello there, Goldkit. You've grown so much...' her mouth moved, but only silence came, and she looked away awkwardly. Right.. no voice... She laid down on the moss, pleased.

Goldkit could see Ebonyroot was trying to talk, and could see the basics of what she was saying. "Have I really? I think I'm tiny compared to EVERYTHING!" he laughed happily, smilling at Ebonyroot with his small mouth.

Ebonyroot purred in amusement. 'Of course, little one...WAIT! Her mouth hadn't quivered until the moment of sudden realization. 'You can understand me?!'

Tawnypaw stared at Goldkit,confused.Ebonyroot didn't say anything

Goldkit purred happily, closing his gold eyes. "Yes, I can!" he smiled at Ebonyroot, opening his eyes innocently. "Why?"

Ebonyroot felt excitement well up in her, this was great! Goldkit could tell Ghoststar about Deathberry and all this could... no... what was she thinking? Throw all that responsibility on a single kit? StarClan, no. She must accept her punishment.
The young elder laid back down and smiled up at Tawnypaw, then looked back to the small tom. 'Because no one else clan...'
