steamkit at the nursery

Steamkit surveyed the windclan camp, feeling completely and utterly bored. "I can't wait 'till I'm an apprentice." she grumbled to herself.

Rabbitkit ran up to his sister. "Hey Steamkit," he mewed, playfully swatting at her ear.

Wolfpelt walked up to her kits, and mewed, "What are you two doing?"

Dragonclaw padded to the kits with her kit, Sweetkit. "Why don't you make some friends?" Dragonclaw asked.

"Ok," Sweetkit purred. She padded up to the kits. "Hi there," she mewed.

she then noticed that sweetkit was standing there, and mewed sweetly "Oh, hi there! What's your name?"

"Sweetkit," Sweetkit purred. "What's your name?"

"I'm Steamkit! This is my brother rabbitkit and my mom wolfpelt." she mewed. She balanced on top of a wobbly rock to show off a bit and said "someday, I'm gonna be the best warrior ever! I'm gonna-oof!" she winced as she fell off the rock and landed facefirst in the most non-warriorish way possible. Steamkit turned bright red.

Sweetkit ran over to Streamkit. "Are you ok?" she asked, worried.

Steamkit stood up and shook herself off. "I think..." she mewed quietly, holding one paw over her eye.

"Ok...," Sweetkit said. She padded over to her mother. "Do you think she will be a good friend?" Sweetkit asked.

"I'm sure," Dragonclaw said.
