"Hi Soot!" Envykit mewed, putting a paw on her bird. He was much bigger than her. "Where did you come from?" he sniffed her again.

"I am not sure." She thought back, "I came from beyond the hills, but thats all I remeber." She explanned to Envykit. "Who are you any way?"

"I'm Envykit!" he bosted pulling his head up. "Son of Bumblepaw, I'm going to be the best warrior this forest has ever seen!" his legs were long and his ears were big. His voice was sqeeky and high-pitched. He looked at the kit "Your kinda cute." he purred.

She looked down then back up. "Thanks, but your not freaked out by my weird mark?" She mewed then turned her head to the side showing him the mark of a claw over her eye.

"Wow thats so cool!" he mewed. "Not at all, I like it!" he mewed.

"Thanks." She looked around. "Where is that warrior named Stoneclaw? I need to talk to him about joining the clan."

"He should be over there." he pointed to the large clump of rocks. "Thats highrock." he mewed. "Its where the leader sleeps."

Stoneclaw layed quiet on the outside of his den awake and eating a thrush

Soot padded up to him slowly "Umm... Could I join your clan?" She asked shaking and nervous.

Stoneclaw stared at her "i thought I smelt a strange scent. Depends little one. who are you ?"

"I am Soot" She mewed softly.

Sootpelt appeared behind Soot and gave Stoneclaw a quick smile then disappeared.

"well Soot, there is always room for kits who need a home." Stoneclaw smiled and dipped his head then stood up and jumped on the highrock "Skyclan gathered around ! We have a new member and from now on she will be known as Sootkit !"

Sootkit smiled at her new name. She was so happy. She then turned to Stoneclaw, "Thanks." she mewed and dipped her head.

"you are welcome" Stoneclaw said

Nightpaw watched his mentor and his new clanmate, He walked up to Sootkit,"Welcome to skyclan!" He meowed to Sootkit.
