Brightkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Ebonyroot padded into camp, the bout at ThunderClan still fresh in her mind. "Please let StarClan be right about their choice." She muttered under her breath, a small prayer.
The ShadowClan she-cat padded into SkyClan camp. "Brightkit?" she called out, "Where are you. It's time for you're ceremony."

"I'm here," she said uncertain. Will this be over quick or will it drone on and on, she asked herself. She shuffled her paws and sat near Ebonyroot.

Ebonyroot blinked. "We're leaving camp, it's time for your ceremony. I've already let Heartstar know."
With that, she turned tail and padded out of camp. While it was selfish of her, she wanted this done very quickly for two reasons: 1. Her was a little sleep drained, having done Icepaw's ceremony a few suns before. & 2. The memory of Mosspaw's ceremony was still fresh in her mind, the idea of doing another of SkyClan's ceremonies so soon waried her.

"Ok," she said quickly. She noticed that Ebonyroot also wanted to get this over with. She prnaced after Ebonyroot. S

Ebonyroot padded up to fourtrees, not stopping their walk until they reached the mother mouth; As tempting as a few moments of rest were.
"Let's go, Brightkit." She meowed softly. "The moon has almost risen to it's peak. Follow my scent." With that, she flicked the black she-kit with her tail and padded into the cave.

Brightkit followed the Shadowclan she-cat's scent through the dark and dreary night. She looked around and aw nothing, in a few minutes or so her name will not be Brightkit anymore but Brightpaw, a step closer to Brightstorm.

When the reached the Moonstone, the light was just beginning to peak forward. She sat down next to the stone, motioning for Brightkit to do the same.

"Brightkit, is it your wish to enter into the mysteries of StarClan as SkyClan's Medicine Cat?"

"Yes," she aswered proudly and honestly. She wanted this so bad. She was serious, she had always wanted to become a medicine cat.

"Then step forward." She meowed, waiting to speak until the kit did so. She brought her voice up, the sound bouncing off the walls of the MotherMouth and into the skies above.
"Warriors of StarClan, I present you with this kit. She has chosen the path of a Medicine Cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and serve her clan in accordance to your will." The words held a strong truth to them, a ringing prayer. "Brightkit, until you have earned your warrior name, you will be known as Brightpaw."

Bic: She dipped her head in response. Thank you Ebonyroot and Starclan. She was very glad for this, but it just made her a bit more edgy, she needed this and wanted this more then anything else in teh world and she wont let anyone take it away.
