Jaystar's Death (Only Jay and Rain, until jay dies D:>)

The she-cat paused. Rainstar hadn't meant to push him this close to death, but he was a leader, just as she was, he had many more lives.
"If you wish," she snarled, and, acting as though he were merely prey, she administered the kill-bite to his neck. Spitting out his blood, she sat and waited for him to come back.

Jaystar's eyes widened as they lost color. He went limp, and never came back.

Rainstar sat for many minutes, remembering that when a leader lost a life, they were limp for a while, then came back. But never had it taken this long, never had they lay there without moving or breathing for a lengthy period of time. Rainstar got up and approached the body of Shadowclan's leader. Leaning over him, she realized with a gasp that he was gone for good. She looked around, at the blood caked on her fur, on Jaystar's fur, and spattered all over this clearing of peace. Feeling dizzy, she ran from the clearing, not looking back.

Ebonypaw was walking around, getting a wiff of fresh air, when she caught the strangest scent flying across the thunderpath.
The calico she-cat frowned, sprinting to what seemed too be the source. When she bounded into the clearing, her body turned Ice cold. "Jaystar!" she gasped, running over to his body.

He sniffed around, walking calmly into fourtrees, his mood quickly changed, blood was everywhere! He scanned Fourtrees, finding a body, JAYSTAR'S body! "Jaystar!" He shouted, along Ebonypaw's voice.

He tried to nudge him with her nose, he was slightly stiff and cooler then normal. He'd been here for a while. "He's dead." she whispered. "What happened?"

He sniffed quickly, "WINDCLAN!" He growled, sniffing again, "I just can't tell who.. TOO MUCH BLOOD!"

"How could they do such a thing?" Ebonypaw shook her head in disbelief, "And just leave him here like this?" 'What a monster.'
"We should take him back." The apprentice meowed sadly, then looked at Brambleflame. "But this means... your leader now."

He stared in disbelief, "I..I-I can't be! HE shouldn't have died!" He growled through gritted teeth.

"But ShadowClan needs a leader." Ebonypaw pressed. "And he chose you to carry one after him, when things like this happen." She looked at his body, liking a patch of his fur and shuddering at the sharp tang of blood.

"I'm going to WindClan, and your coming with me, it's an order." He said sharply.

Ebonypaw fought back the temptation to hiss lightly, he didn't exactly have rule over her, but nodded anyways.
