Welcome to SkyClan Patrols and Duties: Sky Patrol! Warriors chosen for Sky Patrol have proven to be adept at tree climbing, and serve as SkyClan's eyes from above. Where a patrol on the ground may not notice an active threat until they're close enough to be scented or heard, cats assigned to sky patrol have the advantage of sight. Concerning activity is to be reported to Wolfstar or Honeydew immediately or, if necessary and the warriors present are capable, dispatched.
RULES At the beginning of the topic, during your first post, roll one Effect Dice to investigate with your character. At the end of every participant's first turn, the cumulative rolls will be averaged out, and the final number will decide if SkyClan locates a threat or not: 1-2: Locates evidence of a predator 3-4: No threat is found 5-6: Rogue or clan cat is spotted crossing the border
If his apprentice weren't here Brackendawn would have dragged his paws, and lingered between branches, but unfortunately he had an image to uphold. Still, he brought up the rear knowing Blazepaw hadn't mastered tree climbing completely yet. His eyes flitted briefly to his brother, and he hoped if the power went to Yewshade's head he'd stick up for the rest of the patrol.

Blazepaw glanced over his shoulder to find Brackendawn leaping between the trees with ease. The lithe cinnamon tabby had done some climbing of his own before, but he hadn't too much proper practice - still, with Brackendawn behind him and the other strong warriors beside him, he wouldn't let himself be scared.
Though - with a quick, uneasy look toward the ground, Blazepaw felt his heart begin to race. It's okay. I'm okay. Everything is fine. But they were so high up. Getting up the tree hadn't been a problem, but now that he had to leap from branch to branch so high in the air? Well - that was a bit daunting. As much as he respected and looked up to the toms beside him, he knew that should he lose his grip and fall, there wasn't much they could do.
He took a deep breath and leapt to the next branch, willing his paws not to shake as he hopped along. But before he could glance down below him again, he caught a flash of movement ahead - a shadow moving along the forest floor.
"Bracken?" Blazepaw called over his shoulder, eyes flashing with anxiety. "Do you see that?" Maybe it was just a squirrel or a rabbit. Yeah - probably nothing...

Steel blue eyes watched his clanmates carefully, making sure none of them slipped as they began their patrol. Eyes drifting from his brother, to the apprentice, and then to the supposed leader of the patrol. He didn't know the apprentice or the other warrior too well, and from what he had heard over recent events, things didn't look too great. He just hoped they could get out of this patrol in one piece. The pale tom quickly bounded from one branch to another, carefully avoiding dead branches like it was second nature. In his movements, his eyes turned to the forest floor, looking for signs of anything.
