Petals and Play

Larkshine had been wadding out in the marsh most of the day, collecting feathers, leaves and flowers and had decided to bring her findings back to camp. ‘My nest will look so nice!’ She purred to herself as she walked through camp. She noticed two kits playing near the entrance of the nursery den and decided to take them some things to play with. She adorned her nest with half of her stack and then headed back to the nursery.

The kits were still playing outside the nursery when she approached the den. “Hi! Would you two like to play with this stuff?” She purred, dropping feathers, leaves and flowers. “I can show you how to pounce on them like they’re prey if you would like!” Larkshine mewed smiling down at the young kits.
