Daylight shined through the pines as Virtue walked almost side by side with Pineblossom, quite enjoying the idle chatter the two ended up in as they walked. Stagpaw had shown great talent in his last use of the move soldiers who walked with the Riders of the Storm were well versed in. Finding out that he was the child of Pineblossom made this an easy pairing in ShadowClan's continued hunt to purge their land of predators. The silver tabby had been one of the cats to help rid the camp of the rotting rat corpses and to hear the stories of the incredible Rat Swarm that ripped through the forest, leaving their original home: Carrionplace. Exactly where their paws lead them to.

The chattering died down, a hush falling over the trio as they listened intently for the unmistakable squeaks and chitters from the very plague rats that once overtook ShadowClan all those moons ago like in the stories. There! Just outside the metal fencing that laced itself around the garbage heap was one of the biggest rats he had ever laid eye on. "You know the deal. Strike swift and true. You have one chance." Quiet as a field mouse, Virtue slinked back into the shadows to allow either Stagpaw or Pineblossom to take the lead. He would assist as necessary.

Pineblossom

Pineblossom nodded to Virtue. It has been a bit of a learning curve to get the hang of this type of move and she wasn’t sure how well it would work on a creature as tiny as a rat, but she would do her best to try it anyway. When Virture was done speaking, she looked to her son and said, “Be mindful of the rat. It may be small, but it can cause disease if you are bitten. Try to avoid if you can.”

She looked back to the rat in question and she moved forward carefully, approaching silently. There was one rat that was off by itself, and so she took that opportunity to leap and drive her teeth down into the bag legs of the rat while it rummaged through garbage.

Pineblossom used Ankle Biter, dealing 8 damage and costing 30 SP. The rat does half damage for 2 turns.
