The evening air was almost pleasant as Wolfblossom sat on the tallbranch overlooking camp. Today another warrior would be named. Still, grief warred with pride for place in her heart. To have lost a mentor so tragically... Her grandson had not had an easy time of things, she knew. Still, it was a ceremony that he was more than deserving of.
"Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather beneath the tallbranch for a clan meeting!"
Harepaw pulled himself out of his nest in the apprentices den and to his paws. The golden tom was trying to get some rest but it seemed that Wolfblossom had other plans. Which was alright with him since sleep seemed to avoid him. The apprentice straightened out his fur and then joined the gathering clan, waiting to see what the meeting was about.

Wolfblossom's gaze found Harepaw in the crowd and she smiled softly at him. "Harepaw, step forward." She called, eyes on the golden form of her grandson.
"I call upon you Skyclan, and our warrior ancestors to look upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of the warrior code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." The deputy continued, "Harepaw, do you promise to provide for and protect the clan, and to uphold the code, even at the cost of your life?"
He wasnt expecting it to be him. He was expecting there to be way more time in his apprentice ship. Heck he even thought he might have been an apprentice forever but that didn't seem to be the case. Were things finally starting to look up for him? He didn't want to be hopeful knowing life could always throw something else at him but maybe just maybe he could enjoy this moment. So he stepped up.
The golden tom sat and waited for Wolfblossoms next words. When he heard them, he was certain that he would do what he could for Skyclan, but he was very limited on what he could do. "I do"

Wolfblossom nodded at the answer. It was an expected one, but she had spoken with his late mentor about his training before, and while he'd had a rougher start than most apprentices she did not think that would stop him from doing everything he could. Wolfblossom dipped her head, "Then I am pleased to grant you your warrior name. Harepaw, from now you shall be known as Harespring. We honor your determination and resilience." With that, she leapt from the tallbranch to conclude the ceremony.
Wolfblossom approached the golden tom, "She's proud of you, you know. So am I. It was a long road but you truly deserve this." Beechfang, Thornstalker... She spoke of both of them. "You will sit vigil tonight, I hope it is a peaceful one."
Brackenpaw was nervous, this was his first clan meeting since returning and given all the bad news he’d received since, he wouldn’t be surprised if there was more on the horizon. Spying Harepaw in the crowd, the tom made his way over to him, giving him a small smile. He wanted to be there for his brother, but he wasn’t sure how. The meeting began, and Brackenpaw had never been happier to hear good news, Harepaw was becoming a warrior. The apprentice nudged his brother forward, beyond happy he got to see this. No one was more deserving of their warrior title than Harepaw after everything he’d been through. As the ceremony concluded Brackenpaw joined in with the rest of SkyClan chanting his brother’s new name, even louder than when he had become an apprentice “Harespring! Harespring! Harespring!” As the rest of SkyClan began to depart, Brackenpaw rushed to be the first to greet his brother, and use his new name. “Congrats, Harespring! The apprentice den is going to feel empty without you, but SkyClan has just gained another mighty warrior!” he purred, touching his nose to his forehead.

It was Harepaw's warrior ceremony. Shatteredsky was surprised that he had made it to warriorhood before Brackenpaw, but his brother didn't seem disappointed at all. Shatteredsky shrugged, and padded up to his newly-named brother to congratulate him. "Congrats," He said simply, but something in him pushed to add, "You deserve it." Did he? Maybe. Probably not, but whatever.
Honeydew sat below Tallbranch, watching over her clan as they gathered to celebrate her brother, Harepaw's warrior ceremony. Her heart swelled with pride and happiness for him. He had come so far since they were kits, and though they hadn't ended up as close as she had wanted them to, she was still happy to have been able to be here for his ceremony on this day.
She listened to Wolfblossom's summons and watched the ceremony be carried out, her bright blue eyes never leaving Harepaw's pelt, until his warrior name was announced, and the entire clan went up in cheers.
"Harespring! Harespring!" she yowled, trying to project her voice above the others. She watched as the clan spoke their congratulations to their new warrior, and felt something stir within her as she watched all of her brothers exchange kind words. At least at a ceremony like this, everyone is able to get along, she purred to herself. As the crowd began to fade away and warriors returned to their duties, Honeydew wove her way through the mass of cats to reach Harespring's side.
"Congratulations, brother," she purred, rubbing her pelt along his. "It is very much deserved. You've come so far, and I hope you know I'm proud of you." Her eyes searched his as a moment of silence passed between the littermates. "We all are. If you ever need anything, I am always here for you, Haresping. I hope you have a peaceful vigil." She draped her feathery tail over his back for a moment, a comforting gesture, her eyes smiling at him, before withdrawing.
