Explain your Plot:
Morningmoon, Cloudypetal's and Galestorm's mother, is a NPC. Morningmoon is mentioned frequently throughout their lives as a stable figure in their world for the sake of realism, and she is very loved. She has survived a lot of turmoil in her life - yet while they're hunting, she was unable to survive a tunnel collapse due to the unstable tunnels underneath the moor. This will be a life-changing event for Cloudypetal and Galestorm, who were too late to fully save her.
We are asking for the permission to go beyond the current limits of a NPC character, allowing her some official dialogue and fleshing her character out during the hunting patrol, through the perspective of Cloudypetal and Galestorm (she will not be roleplayed directly). This would only be in a single topic, the topic she dies in, and what she says will last the entirety of her kit's lives.
How will this impact the characters/clans involved?:
Throughout their life, Galestorm and Cloudypetal have frequently referenced and acknowledged their NPC mother. Since they were kits, they've spoken fondly of their mother, and have even sat next to her during ceremonies. They have never spoken directly with her, as per the NPC rules.
Due to their closeness with their mother and her considerable importance in their lives, her death would be a significant impact on their character development.

This topic would have minimal impact on WCC, or any other characters outside of Galestorm and Cloudypetal.
Just as was done before this thread, Morningmoon will continue to only be referenced in their thoughts or speech, and not spoken to directly (well, she'll be dead, so I mean...)
