Forest of Friends (closed)

Silver paws leapt atop the felled giant. She knew it was a silly thing to think, but Silverwing had come to see this giant as more than just the border dividing tree many saw it as. Anytime she relaxed here it would magically bring her a new Thunderclan cat. First had been Thrushpaw, and interesting apprentice that hadn't minded her rambling. The next cat it had sent to her was Blazefang, the cat that she hoped to see now. Perhaps if she thought about the Thunderclan molly hard enough the tree would pick up on her wishes and deliver her a pretty ginger pelted cat.

Silverwing perched herself on the magic tree and filled her head with thoughts of Blazefang, silver eyes intently staring at the tree line in front of her.

Crocuspaw was wandering idly once more, having taken to the solitude strangely quickly, finding that it provided a kind of comfort unfamiliar to warm nests and sibling companionship. Maybe it was in her nature, in her blood, but Crocuspaw didn't care to find a proper answer to her feelings because how she felt was how she felt and that was it. Her paws brought her back to the Fallen Oak, where she had previously run into the Skyclan deputy. She wondered if she would run into her again, as with the passage of time, Crocuspaw herself was sure that she would dwarf Wolfblossom herself. Maybe.

As predicted paw steps came from across the border. Silver ears perked immediately as Silverwing called out to her favorite cat ever to roam the forest. "Blazefang! How-" No, not Blazefang. This one seemed too big, and was a different color altogether. The silver molly's excitement died momentarily as her brain restarted. Not Blazefang, but the tree had still brought her a new cat to speak with. She could be happy about that. Silverwing flashed her new companion a smile. "Hey there pretty kitty, I don't think I've ever seen a cat like you around before. What's your name?" In all her moons Silverwing was unsure she had ever seen a cat quite like this one. She was interesting to say the least.
