Judgement Day [TC CLAN MEETING]

Burdockroot watched with her blank face as the clan she respected the most out of the other clans unraveled right before her. This... This was something. Their own Deputy launched himself at the murderer and killed him in a flash - but not before his own eye was pulled out. For the first time, Burdockroot vageuly considered if she was right about the prophecy. The way this Deputy acted so violently against the accusations made her wonder if Starlingflare was right. Why did this Darkspirit hate the other cat so much he would risk everything? Out of instinct, Burdockroot stepped forward before Mottlestar boomed her expectations to follow and froze with her paw mid-air. A warrior agreed to take them and she put her paw down and spoke to Leopardsun. "We should probably go. And no - this time, the chaos was not my fault. I had no paw in... that." The medicine cat spoke in such a soft voice that only her Deputy could hear and she strained to make sure she knew it was a joke. With a flash of a very tiny grin, Burdockroot padded to the warrior offering to lead them, staring at him expectantly.

Blood rushed in Blazefang’s ears as the scene played out before her. And then came something she never wanted to hear. Never thought she would hear. Darkspirit’s father was Dawnhawk. Dayquill was Darkspirit’s brother. Dayquill was the son of Dawnhawk. He knew he was the son of Dawnhawk and he had lied to her, simply telling her his father wasn’t around. Well no wonder, he was busy murdering! And now Darkspirit had done the same. Regardless of who killed Dovefrost, Darkspirit had just ended a life before everyone’s eyes. She didn’t want to imagine Dayquill doing the same.
