It was another day, another patrol. The molly was simply in the monotomy of life, allowing her apprentice a day off and time to rest. As she went towards the border, the scent of Thunderclan made her nose twitch. To Marigoldmask, their scent was almost too close to home. It was just the smallest of stings that made it feel... wrong. Blinking, the orange and white molly looked about for the origin. "Whoever it is, stay on your side of the border!"

Thistlemask had found herself more and more tired as of late, and a strong part of her was missing her family. It had been so long since she had seen her brother that she found her paws instinctively heading for the border they had met at a few times, hoping to the stars above that today she would see him - or perhaps find out where he went. Instead, she was met with a strange SkyClan molly looking suspiciously close to her border. "No! You get back to yours!"

She dived at the molly, keeping her claws sheathed as she bowled into her. They tumbled for a moment before Thistlemask stood, fur bristled and back arched in warning. Some horrible part of her hoped the warrior would attack back, but a much larger part hoped she would just walk away.

Thistlemask used Jumping Strike, dealing 11 damage (8+3) and using 7 SP!

As the molly would hit her fur, the she-cat would let out a hiss. Marigoldmask's ears pinned against her head, and just as she was about to retort, the realization struck her mind. This was Thunderclan's deputy. Her tail danced with frustration as she couldn't justify truly retaliating back. But before it went through her mind, her claws had already grasped at the other molly's pelt. "Okay! Fine! Sheesh!"

Marigoldmask used Fight and Flee! She delt 10 damage to Thistlemask... then ran away!
