updates and announcements
1. In order to maintain transparency and accountability, the staff team has released a spreadsheet detailing the duties split between the team. This list is not exhaustive, but it is meant to give an idea of how responsibilities are handled by each member. Click the link here to view! (Please note: Given recent staffing changes, the spreadsheet is currently under revision and will be updated as soon as possible!)
2. Given recent changes and us always wanting feedback, staff would like to remind the site of the anon feedback submission form found here. Remember to keep criticism constructive and that bullying and harassment are against site rules. Thank you!
3. PLEASE NOTE: There is still a hold on all major plots for the time being. Any currently ongoing plots may continue as planned, but no new major plots will be approved at this time. Thank you!

quote of the month (submissions)
The quote of the month is designed to display the fun, inspiring, or impactful dialogue that our userbase comes up with. Quotes can be submitted at any time but staff will only select eligible quotes from the month prior to the release of the newsletter. Our goal is to feature different characters from all different clans and various users. Quotes will be selected by staff from the submitted pool and will be shared alongside their origin topic, along with the character name, roleplayer, and context for the quote.
Quotes can be submitted in the form linked. Please feel free to submit multiple quotes during every monthly time period. All submissions are anonymous, so of course you may submit your own as well. If you have a quote you'd like to see included in the quote of the month competition, fill out the form here!

Something is happening.. Twolegs and traps everywhere.. Just when cats thought the fourtrees was safe they stumble upon cages and random trinkets in their clearing. Scent of twolegs fresh in the air. Just what does it mean for the cats of the forest? Are they safe? And what about their missing clanmates? Just what became of them?

Context: Curlypaw and Rosekit played a fun game of 'Leader Says,' in which afterwards Rosekit asked if he wanted to be her best friend. Curlypaw of course said yes and is ecstatic about his new bff.
Sitewide Updates and Need-to-Knows:
Cats are still going missing all over the territories, including rogues and kittypets, but others seem to be returning. The earthquake is a distant memory in the cat’s minds but twolegs and their companions linger in the areas making it risky for all cats alike.
Can you get around the twolegs? Can you avoid capture? Even if you do, would it keep you safe from what the twolegs are doing to the territory?
