What are the duties of a medicine cat? : Medicine cats have many duties, and their role is a complex one. They are the “doctors” of Clan society, memorizing the many healing herbs and their uses and using them to treat the sick and injured. They also assist with births and can be something of a confidante for clanmates with mental health issues. Med cats are also the primary connection to StarClan. They visit the Moonstone every half-moon to receive signs and prophecies, and they guide apprentices and new leaders there as well. Medicine cats may serve as advisors to the leader in some capacity. They must be above Clan rivalries and help any cat in need.
What would you do with this position? : I think it would be an interesting change of pace, for one thing. I’ve never RPed a med cat before and would very much like to. Sagekit would blossom in this role and hopefully grow into the steady MCA ThunderClan needs. I’m very active and should be able to get Moonstones up pretty fast. Also, autistic med cat! Meddie who loves her job!
Why you think you deserve this position? : I’ve been very active on this site for the nearly a year I’ve been here. As I said above, I’m usually on daily and should have no trouble posting Moonstones. Sagekit is on the autism spectrum and while she’ll do her best as a warrior if not chosen she was created with eventually being a medicine cat in mind.
