Fallowkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Leopardsun sat at the base of the Jaggedrock, scanning the camp for a certain cat. "All cats old enough to silently stalk in the shadows, please gather in the shadow of the Jaggedrock for a Clan meeting!"

ShadowClan had been blessed with a number of kits recently, and it was with hope that the deputy called this meeting: that each of them might make it to this milestone, their long-awaited apprenticeship, and the next after that.

"Fallowkit, please step forward."

Once the kit she'd been waiting for appeared, Leopardsun didn't waste any time progressing the ceremony. She could recall too well the impatience and anticipation.

"Fallowkit- you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to become an apprentice. From this day until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Fallowpaw. Thalia will be your mentor. I trust that she will pass down all she knows to you."

Thalia, despite her oddities, was one of ShadowClan's senior warriors. She knew this, but was still startled when she heard her own name called out by the Clan's deputy; though it wasn't the first time. After touching her nose to his, she offered the newly-named apprentice a smile. "...We can start training whenever you're ready, Fallowpaw."
