Though Leopardsun spent a great deal of her time tracking and hunting potential threats to ShadowClan, there was something that (most) of her endeavors failed to provide: fresh-kill. As the weather grew colder, leaf-bare was fast approaching- not yet here, but well on its way- and so when she wasn't otherwise occupied, she had taken to leading extra hunting patrols. She thought it was good to get into the habit early, all the tales she'd heard of a snow-covered forest also bringing warnings of scarce prey. If they would have to hunt twice as much to eat the same as they were now, they might as well get started.
